Chapter one.
Lucas p.o.v
"Luc, get down already we have to leave soon," my mom Kate urged me for the twentieth time. "Coming," I replied before turning back and giving the room I had lived in for 16 years one last look. "Good bye," I muttered softly to the air before wiping off the single tear drop that fell from my eyes. I hurriedly tan downstairs to prevent my mom from shouting again then turned to her and said coldly, "let's go." We quickly arrived at the front gate and found that the moving company had already settled everything. I walked towards the low key black Bentley packed by the road side and got into the passenger seat. My mom followed me hurriedly and got into the driver's seat before starting the car ready to set off. "Luc, hon I know you are mad at me but can't you just listen to me, please," my mom begged in a low voice. " I know you feel like I betrayed your dad by remarrying but..." "Geez! mom are you even listening to yourself," I cut off my mom's words snapping unhappily, "when did I say I was mad at you for betraying dad?" I asked annoyed. "But you don't talk to me," she replied in a low voice. I sighed frustratedly before rubbing the space between my eyebrows then turned to her and said, "first I am super duper mad at you because you never told me you were dating, secondly you never even thought of introducing that Pet guy to me before deciding to move in with him and getting married. Do you know how worried I am. For Christ's sake mom you just met that guy like 3 months ago and you are getting married seriously? What if he is married or violent or.." "Luc calm down," my mom cut me off, "you are overly worried he is a good guy and besides his wife passed away ten years ago and he has a son one year older than you. You will know when you see him, " my mom said comfortingly. I sighed softly before simply replying with an okay before simply closing my eyes to rest. I've lived with my mom Kate since my dad passed away ten years ago. Well life hasn't been that hard since my dad left us a huge inheritance and my mom is a renowned designer. My mom Kate is good at everything well except choosing men. I really hoped that this time the guy she chose was really good like what she described. "Luc," my mom tapped me softly ,"wake up we are here " I woke up slowly before yawning and then got out of the car. I opened my mouth wide as I stared at the mansion in front of us. "Umm mom ," I tugged my mom's sleeve softly, "are you sure we are at the right place. My mom laughed softly before nodding before I couldn't continue asking questions a handsome middle age man got out of the mansion excitedly before hugging my mom, " welcome home honey," he said hugging her tightly. "I missed you so much love," my mom replied also hugging the man tightly as if I was invisible. I cleared my throat softly to catch their attention. They both separated then turned to look at me. "Peter, darling this is my son Lucas, Lucas this is my boyfriend Peter." my mom introduced us to each other. I looked at the man for a while before shaking his hand politely, "nice to meet you," I said softly. "You look great," the man smiled and said. I smiled softly then muttered a thanks. "Seth," the man called loudly, "come and great your new family." I turned towards the gate then saw a tall young man coming towards us. "Nice to meet you I am Seth," a deep masculine voice sounded. I looked up and met with a deep pair of eyes, I tried so hard to maintain my composure while my mind kept shouting what the f**k is this devil doing here. I streached out my hand politely before answering me too while inwardly I kept thinking I am a real goner. I really felt like turning back and leaving but I knew it was impossible. I bit my lips trying so hard to calm down that the almost bled. " Let's go inside," finally Peter's voice broke the silence. I walked quickly as if pardoned but another set of footsteps followed me. "We meet again, beagle, " he whispered. I turned around and met with a pair of deep blue eyes which always appeared in my dreams and I hoped dearly to forget them. I kept quiet and continued walking as if I never heard him. "God why not just kill me," I thought in my head, my eyes filled with despair.
