By the time we were easing into my palace, Pandora was asleep. I guess the emotional stress she has had to go through in the last few days has taken its toll on her.
I was actually talking to her about my palace and some wonderful memories I have here when I noticed she was no longer responding. I moved closer to her, so I could check on her and heard her soft snores.
She had her mouth slightly opened, and I felt an insane urge to seal her mouth with a soft kiss. I shook off the thought, she had already been through enough already. She stirred in her sleep and woke up just as the car stopped in front of the palace.
“Hey sleepy head” I teased her as she tried to recollect herself. She looked so cute and innocent, and I just wanted to gather her in my arms and hold her for life.
