Chapter 33: Timothy Visits

Erich finished his evening shift at Cupcakes, walked the few blocks to Sneed Street, and ended up at his apartment. Once inside the second floor apartment he mixed a salad, dripped a light dressing over the tomato-lettuce-olive concoction and relaxed with his feet up while listening to Taylor Swift on Pandora.
The apartment wasn’t anything spectacular. Not that he wanted to live like a rock star that made millions. The furniture was made up of secondhand pieces with many scuffs. The floor rugs looked a few years old and used. It was comfortable though, and home away from Rochester. The walls needed a few more pictures and the kitchen lacked dishes, which caused him to eat off paper plates.
