47. Enhanced Interrogation

Alo and his three-man team were stripped n***d, shackled, and blindfolded by their Serefim captors. They were manhandled into a Serefim transport and flown about an hour away. The minute the transport landed, the prisoners were dragged out of the ship and into some kind of shelter with a rough wooden floor. Alo could feel gusts of cold air hitting his body from different directions and surmised the shelter was not enclosed. The men were lashed, hands behind their backs, to eyebolts on the floor. Gagged and given no food or water, they were trussed in painful contortions. Being cold, thirsty, hungry and extremely uncomfortable, Alo could not imagine that sleep was possible. But in such circumstances, the brain uses sleep as an escape mechanism. For that reason, a guard was posted to watch
