Althea and Egan rendezvoused with Major Anso in a broad river valley on the western edge of the SWA-7 region and returned with him to Oprit Robia’s ice cave hideout. Six days later they hitched a ride on one of Oprit’s 4-D ships making the interdimensional jump to Realta-Gorm 4 with seventeen liberated sapiens.
Within hours of their arrival, Imamiah escorted the couple to the Oprit Robia headquarters in Saorsa. Marjean greeted them at the entrance foyer. “Dr. Althea, Professor Egan, thank you for agreeing to meet with me.”
Althea ducked her head slightly, more than a nod, less than a bow. “It’s always a pleasure and an honor, Marjean.”
“I smelled café brewing in the kitchen a moment ago and thought, hey, I want that instead of tea. Would you care for some?” Marjean asked.
