HECTOR, THE BASTARD DEVIL!

CAFETERIA

It's lunchtime now and Amanda is still inside their restroom. She had no courage to go out and go to the cafeteria where Hector awaited her. If she goes there, she has no time to get her lunch. She is afraid to eat there because her viand is her favorite dried fish. She usually eats inside their room. But she does not want to compromise her studies. "I already ate a tuna sandwich and orange juice that Erika gave me during recess. I will drink lots of water later after a discussion with Hector." That's the plan on Amanda's mind. While she was walking in the corridor going to the cafeteria. She passes some students taking their lunches on the bench under trees inside the school. She smells delicious food. She finally reaches the cafeteria. At the entrance, she smells a different variety of dishes. She looks around where Hector is. She couldn't find it. She tried to look to the other side of the cafeteria, but he was not there. She was about to leave and go back to her classroom when she heard a serious tone of voice.

Where do you think you're going? Hector

Amanda: I thought you were not here. Startled voice

Hector: Follow me

She nodded to Hector and followed. She noticed that they were going to the mini hall beside the cafeteria.

Hector: Very noisy there

Amanda: Okay

Hector opened the door of the mini-hall. It's an air-conditioned room and there's a table and couch. Hector sat down on the couch. Amanda sat down on the opposite side of the table. She was about to lay the books on the table and open them when the door opened again. One staff member in the cafeteria brings food to the table. Prepare two plates. Amanda puzzled

Amanda: what is this?

Hector: Food

Amanda: I know

Hector: It's our lunchtime!

Amanda was shocked when she heard it was our lunchtime. Why is she included?!

Amanda: I have already eaten my lunch. Thank you

Hector: where?

Amanda: In the room

Hector: Liar! Come, let's eat first. I heard butterflies trembling in your stomach. With a lower lip smile.

Wait, did he just smile? I saw it. Amanda Shocked. How did he know she hadn't eaten her lunch? She saw five different appetizing foods served on the table. This is her first time eating with a boy. Total strange boy. He does not know this boy. She just only knows this is the son of the school owner. She had just met him for a couple of hours.

Hector: Don't stare at the food. Eat it! With a commanding voice.

Amanda did not know what happened to her and why she was a bit frightened to hear that tone of voice. She nodded to Hector and started plating her plate with some food on the table.

Hector smiled victoriously. He started staring at Amanda. She looks like a goddess. He started putting some food on his plate too. He observed her. He feels smooth surroundings while having lunch with her.

Amanda could not look straight at Hector. She feels uneasy and shy at that moment. The food was great and delicious. She wanted to get more but she was shy. And Hector noticed it.

Hector: Get more food. I cannot finish that food all by myself.

Amanda: Okay. With a shy smile on her face

Hector: What happened to us earlier, forget it.

Amanda looked at Hector amusingly.

Hector: For formality, I want to re-introduce myself to you.

Amanda was shocked to look at Hector while standing and walking towards her. He offers his hand to Amanda.

Hector: I'm Hector Bell

She accepts the hand of Hector. She feels like there's electricity. His hand is smooth.

Amanda: I'm Amanda Boborol. With a startled voice. What happened to me? Why am I startled in front of this guy? In her mind.

There is silence and they keep on staring at each other. As if there is a sound of music, only their two hearts can hear it. Amanda's heartbeat moved so fast at that moment. Her face turned pinkish. Wait, is she blushing?

Hector feels the same way. He's hearing music as if there is an orchestra playing behind them. This is the first time he feels this way. He saw Amanda was blushing, while he was still holding her hands.

Amanda took off her hands. She does not know why certain feelings are formulated in her heart. She feels excited to know more about this person. She feels a bit of awkwardness between them. She admitted to herself that Hector was handsome and a very good-looking guy. But she knows her priority is her studies. She knows that their status in life is hugely different. This is not the ideal time for her to entertain or deal with any relationship.

Hector: How's the food?

Amanda: Hmm it's delicious.

Hector: Good. I specifically order this outside.

Amanda: Oh why?

Hector: Nothing

Amanda: Okay ( Puzzled)

She finished eating, and she waited for Hector to finish.

Amanda: I hear London School is great. Why did you transfer here? (as if she did not know the reason mentioned by their teacher earlier)

Hector: That's the decision of my parents. They wanted me here. Life here is boring.

Amanda: No, that's not true. Life here is an adventure. There are a lot of nice places you could visit.

Hector: Sure there is, but I am not interested though.

Amanda: Okay. I will not contradict your words. I respect that.

He just smiled while chewing the last food in his mouth. Amanda blushed again. He looks like Daniel Padilla every time he smiles.

Amanda: Okay, this is the topic that we will discuss. We need to formulate a statement regarding the impact of social media on students' society.

Hector: Dang, I hate reporting

Amanda: We need to

Hector: Tsk tsk. oh boy

Amanda: I want to know your thoughts regarding this paragraph. She shows it to Hector.

Hector: All right, give me a topic, and I will ask my maids to do this. Tomorrow morning I will give you my answer.

Amanda: No, we need to finish this before we go back to our classes and hello, why are your maids doing this?

Hector: Who would do it?

Amanda: Oh god? With a shocked facial expression

Amanda feels relieved, and she hands her hands out to Hector. He's reading silently with no words coming out of his mouth. Amanda stared at Hector while he was reading it. This guy is so lucky. He has everything in this world. She goes back to her notes and creates her input on the topic.
