Nikolai's POV ( Present tense )
Knocking on her door I want to get to know her. I want her to understand that I had no intentions of betraying the trust she doesn't give easily and the last thing I want is to see the look of pure defeat on her face when all I want to do is give her the entire world if I could.
"Sierra?"
Her name falls from my mouth and it feels right. She somehow feels right even after knowing she's had a s**t time with people before but knowing she's been chosen to be my fated mate, knowing she's going to become stronger, emotionally and physically, is what sets my chest alight.
