As I stepped through the revolving doors of Kane Corp, I had to admit—the last time I walked out of this building, I was nothing short of dramatic.
What was I even thinking? That I was the lead in some overly emotional telenovela? That storming out, head held high and heart in pieces, would somehow make a statement?
