When the next round of truth or dare started and it got to my turn, I didn't even hesitate before choosing truth. There was no way in hell I was letting anyone dare me to sit on anyone's lap again, or worse.
My heart still hadn't fully recovered from that.
When I realized that it was Sophia who was going to be asking me the question, my shoulders relaxed a bit and I didn't even know why. Maybe it was because I figured since she wasn't a guy, she'd go easy on me.
A rookie mistake.
She leaned forward, smiling sweetly, and folded her arms. "Amelia," she said, dragging out my name like she was savoring it. "Are you and Darren officially a thing now? Because, I mean, I'm sure everyone here is as curious as I am. He's, like, the school's golden boy."
