It was a Wednesday—the day before chemo. Peter came home early and helped Cody pack for his overnight visit to his grandparents. This time it was with Dwayne and Patti. Cody and Moe were delivered. After a kiss and reminder to have fun, Peter went home, pondering his evening alone with Russell.
Russell eventually came in and set his brief case on the desk as usual. He was tired but looking forward to dinner with his favourite man.
