Cody was blasting away on his trumpet with a grinning Alicia cheering him on. As soon as he saw Russell, Cody put the instrument down, went over to hug his uncle, and announced that the day’s music lessons were over. He knew Russell wasn’t feeling well. Alicia went over to hug Russell, as well. “That kid worships you. He knows you aren’t feeling well right now. He told me he wanted to show you what he’s learned, but not until you’re better. He’s coming along, and I love his dedication and spunk. He’s a joy to work with. I’ve got to get going. I have a recording session this evening. Bring Cody along sometime soon. He can see how we record music.” She kissed him and grabbed her coat. She called to Cody that she was leaving. He rushed over to give her a hug. “Cody, my man, what should we w
