Aaron's words hammered in my head; it was so humiliating that someone attacked my wife in my office. But my main concern was the vampire transition.
“Evelyn’s body is normal like a human. Will she turn into a vampire after twenty-four hours?”
Aaron held her hand and slashed her wrist.
“Her blood is black due to my venom. Soon, her soul will fight off the darkness and I will suck my venom back for her sanity. She should not be attacked again; her death can complete the transition.”
“File a complaint in the police department, Bruce. Check the CCTV camera. Perhaps, the attacker is also an employee of this branch.”
“On it!”
After ordering Bruce, my heart was at ease. So, I went to see my aunt.
