The newspaper journalists seemed to love following around Rose and Easton since the coronation. Trivial small tasks were harder to complete quickly due to trying to avoid the journalists and paparazzi. When Rose moved her belongings out of her mother’s house to take them to the palace, the newspapers tore her lack of personal belongings to shreds. They called her the “cardboard box queen” and even tried to get pictures of what was inside of the box. Another newspaper said she’d got fat. All because Rose had bent down to pick up a grain seed in the market and a roll of belly fat had been photographed.
