Three Calder had woken up at 6:30 AM to the sound of his alarm blaring in his ear. He reaches over to turn it off and sits up in bed, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He looks over at his wife at his empty side, it has been so for a while now. He gets out of bed, walked towards the balcony, he stared at the sky, admiring how expansive they. After getting dressed, Calder heads downstairs to the kitchen to make some coffee and breakfast. He scrambles some eggs and makes some toast, which he eats while scrolling through his phone to catch up on the news and check his emails. ‘A bit of irrelevancies’ He always calls some of his mails He picked up his phone to make a call ‘Yeah Kita, you good?’ He asked her ‘I’m good boss, I have had Ichira locate the new shipment and have it shipped out to the new warehouse’ Kita replied over the phone ‘That’s good, please also schedule a meeting with Horizon at 10:30’ He replied ‘Done that already sir’ She responded. ‘Okay, later.’ He replied then drop the call Once he was done with the call, Calder head down to the kitchen to have his morning coffee which he gives himself 15 minutes of peace, just sipping without any thoughts in his mind, like a boat with no direction, just floating a calm lake. After 20 minutes, he went to take a cold shower, dressed up in black plain pants and a white shirt with his overcoat in his arms on, on his foot a black grayson, a good looking ruddish gentle man. He heads out the door and commutes on his Chevrolet camaro to work as a man, it was the perfect;he loves his cars just as he loves his food. He spends the drive listening to music and talk shows while thinking about the meetings he had to attend with some potential clients. About an hour later, he was at his office Just like every building around him, it was a simple straight building, he had two floors as his so all operations and work can always commence with ease. Parking his car at the designated area for him, he came down while giving a nod to the security at the station. ‘Good morning sir’ They both greeted. ‘Good morning’ He responded with a small smile He keeps on walking to the step, from the step he gets to the elevator taking him to his floor. ‘Good morning boss’ Kita his personal assistant greeted. ‘You look good this morning’ She added with a bit of a smile. Calder rolled his eyes at her, she was a witty one, always having one jab or compliment to give him. Being with him for so long now, she was actually one of the major persons who helped boost the company to what it is now. Calder was the CEO of interior X which focused on creating luxurious armament for all classes, some shiny and attractive with less durability and quality while some simple with lasting quality. He spends most of his day brainstorming ideas for new campaigns, and analyzing data to see what’s working and what’s not. Calder called Kita to his office for something he had on his mind. Calder: Hey Kita, I’ve been thinking…our branding for Interior X needs a refresh. We need something that truly captures our unique approach to design. Kita: Absolutely, Boss. Our current branding is a bit dated. What ideas do you have in mind? Calder: Well, I was thinking of incorporating a bold, modern font and a color scheme that reflects our focus on innovation and creativity. Maybe a deep blue or purple to represent our commitment to excellence. Kita: I like that. And what about our logo? Should we keep the same icon or try something new? Calder: Let’s try something new. I was thinking of a stylized “X” made up of tiny design elements, like a miniature floor plan or a snippet of fabric. Something that represents our attention to detail and passion for design. Kita: That sounds great, Calder. I’ll start working on some concepts and we can review them together. At 10:30am, he walked to the meeting with Horizon Co, they were an innovative networking company which just came into the market with force and were looking for a good interior company to give them exactly what they represented and projected. Kita was already in the room waiting with Amanda Larson who was the CFO of the Horizon co Calder: Good morning, Miss Larson . Thank you for considering Interior X for your design needs. I’d love to showcase our portfolio and demonstrate how we can bring your vision to life. Amanda: Thank you but please call me Amanda , Mr. Gray. I’m excited to see what your company have to offer. We’re looking for a design firm that can create a truly unique and innovative space for our new office. ‘Oh my bad, please call me Calder too’ He looked at Taki while nodding ‘Please Kita’ He gestured to his assistant. Kita began speaking with confidence which indicates she knew what she knew her stuff really well. . ‘Thank you for the opportunity, Our portfolio features a range of projects that showcase our expertise in creating bespoke interior designs. (pulls out a tablet and begins presenting) This first project, for example, was for a tech startup in Silicon Valley. We incorporated a living wall, flexible modular furniture, and smart glass to create a cutting-edge, collaborative space’. Amanda: Wow, that’s impressive. I love the use of natural elements and the flexibility of the furniture. What kind of feedback did you receive from the client? Kita: They were thrilled with the final result, and reported a significant increase in employee satisfaction and productivity. We also received an award for Best Office Design from the Interior Design Association. Amanda: That’s fantastic. What other projects do you have in your portfolio? Kita: (presenting additional projects) This next one was for a luxury retail store in New York City. We designed a sleek, modern space with custom fixtures and a stunning LED light installation. And this project, for a healthcare company, featured a calming, nature-inspired design with a focus on wellness and patient comfort. Amanda: I’m blown away by the diversity and creativity of your designs. How do you approach each project to ensure it meets the client’s unique needs? This time Calder replied instead. Calder: We start with a thorough needs assessment and space analysis, followed by a custom design concept presentation. Our team of experts collaborates closely with the client to ensure every detail is tailored to their specific requirements. We also offer a range of services, from design and procurement to installation and project management. Amanda: That’s comprehensive. What kind of timeline and budget can we expect for a project like ours? Calder: Depending on the scope, our projects typically range from 8-20 weeks, and our fees are competitive with industry standards. We’d be happy to provide a custom proposal outlining the specifics for your project. Amanda: Thank you, Calder and you too kita, I’m impressed by your portfolio and expertise. We’ll definitely consider Interior X for our design needs. Calder: Thank you, Amanda. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you and bring your vision to life. Amanda and her assistant left the meeting while Calder remain with Taki Calder stood up and walked to the glass which had an overview of the city. He stood there for some minutes before he asked ‘What do you think Kita ?’ He asked like he was wondering. Kita sets her glass properly while looking at her boss’s wide back, she felt he needed some rest. ‘We got them actually, you can tell they were bought by the presentation’ She sounded so sure. ‘Oh? I believe you ‘ He turned and smiled at her. Kita didn’t react, she simply looked at him and shake her head in tiredness which she knew he was about to leave the processes to her again. He walked to the desk and sat on the edge of it ‘Fence Inc agreed to her request after a while of trying’ Kita informed him ‘Oh that’s excellent, Who is coming?’ He asked ‘Which of their stage 3?’ He added Kita sets her glasses well again then took a deep breath like she had a bad news. ‘They didn’t send any stage 3 or so’ ‘A manager? ‘ He asked curiously ‘No, they sent a stage 2’ She said tirelessly. ‘Oh!
