I made it two whole weeks before I panicked. I had agreed to this, and I had wanted it. And it had to be genuine or the Moon's light would not have appeared before us so clearly. The Moon's gifts would not have begun to descend on us. And the gifts had certainly started to come. I could hear Varon's thoughts. Not like any decently mated pair would, but in fragments, pieces of everything put together here and there. Nothing that would even begin to make up a thought on its own.
