I pull up to Denton’s home and sigh when I turn off the car. It’s still daylight and about one hundred degrees outside. I’ve ditched my suit for a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Now that I’m here, maybe I should’ve chosen a pair of jeans instead. I bite back a groan when I see Lilly on the front porch. She's lounging on the porch swing as she sip on a drink. When I step out of my car, she raises her head and smirks.
What the hell are you up to, woman?
I walk towards the house and curse under my breath when I see what Lilly is wearing. “Goddammit, Lilly.”
She has on a pair of cut off jean shorts and a pink bikini top. Denton emerges from the front door and grins, carrying two beers. He hands me one and says, “Lilly, go inside. I need to talk to Chris.”
