After Alena’s dad left. The guy's mind linked me, asking if I wanted to go to the lake and hang out. The sun had set but there was a full moon. Everything was lit up. There was a clearing by the lake. Some of the others decided that they were going to go swimming and make a bonfire.

I asked Alena if she wanted to go. She mind linked her mom. After getting her answer, she smiled at me.

“My mom said yes. I just have to bring some guards with me.” She said.

We walked downstairs. I could see her parents from the window. They were in the back of the house. It looked like they were having a serious conversation. I’m sure I was the topic of that conversation.

Her dad doesn’t want Alena to be with me. I don’t know why he hates me so much because he doesn’t even know me. I’m not the type
