"Hello, Tobe, good morning"

I just got to the office and was going about my work when my phone rang, I checked and the caller was Tobe. Seeing his call, I smiled brightly and relaxed into my chair. It's been two weeks since we last talked and that was when he came to the office. My superior has taken up the contract with Tobe's company and assigned one of the interns to work with him so I was not working directly with Tobe. Although the intern reports to me, and asides the supervision, I only step in when my input is needed.

"Good Morning Angel, how are you doing today? Tobe replied

"I'm good, although I never thought you'd call back. You really took your time, I was starting to think you scare easily" I don't know why I said that but it just came out.

"You said to give you time so that was me giving you enough space to make a decision and take a stance, that doesn't mean you are not on my mind cause you are. I think about you every day, and trust me, it took a lot of self-control not to cave in and call you." He clarified.

Listening to him go on about respect and boundaries was doing something I couldn't explain to my heart. Truth be told, he crossed my mind a couple of times but I tried so hard to get him off my mind. Dan is such a good person and he doesn't deserve such treatment, but the more I try to get Tobe out of my mind by thinking about how good Dan is to me and how far we've come, the more I find a lot of reasons and excuses to be with Tobe. All this while, I restrained from telling Sonia about Tobe, I knew she would do anything to talk me out of it which I don't wish for.

"Please don't tell me you're trying to be a gentleman?" I asking while laughing

"Of course, I am a gentleman to the core, I've always been one and you know it."

"That's true though..." I said while pulling on my hair.

Tobe really is a gentleman right from when we were friends in high school. So many girls looked down on him not only because of his short height but because they saw him as a soft person. He would do anything just to make a lady happy, everyone including the teachers thought we were a couple of cause of our closeness, we sat, read, eat together, I knew Tobe was in love with me, I just didn't see him as more than a friend. He kept on assuring me that he would wait till he proves himself worthy of my heart but Dan's arrival changed everything. I bonded so much with him in a short time and that was how Tobe got cut off.

"Are you free tonight, I would like to take you out?" He broke the silence.

"I don't think I'm ready for that yet"

"I'm not asking for too much, just go out with me not walk down the aisle with me," he said and we both laughed.

"Dan would not agree"

"Yes, he will, you are a woman and you know how to make a man say yes to you."

"Are you asking me to lie to my husband, Tobe?"

"No, not a lie, I am asking you to give yourself a chance to be happy" he replied.

"I'm not sure I can pull off a late-night out again, Dan wasn't okay with the last time.

"No pressure Anna, I would be at Spicea by 8 pm waiting for you. They just added a dish to their menu and I wish to try it with you. So give it a thought, I'd be expecting you or not. Have a nice day Anna." He said and hung up.

Two minutes later and I was still holding my phone to my ear, I so much longed to see Tobe but going to dinner with him changes a lot, it means giving in to him and to what end, to the expense of my marriage? I thought to myself. But on the other hand, it won't be so bad to just hear him out, it feels good being chased or sought and just this one time definitely won't kill or mean I'm cheating on my husband. Daniel and I will be fine. I thought to myself as I made up my mind to meet with Tobe that night.

"What will be will be," I said out loud as I picked up one of the files piled up on the table and start to read through it.

(In the evening, at Spicea)

"Anna Cooper, beautiful and smart, loves all things cute and cuddly, specifically anything pug-related. She wears the perfect little shoe size. Seven and a half, narrow. She makes every man look twice when she walks into the room" That was Tobe relaxed in his chair and complimenting me as I devoured my meal.

"Well, this is a whole new level of stalker vibes that I do not know about and oops, she goes by Anna Barnes now," I said as I smiled and gasped down my glass of wine before taking a break from my plate to focus on Tobe.

Obviously, his compliments made me happy, Daniel compliments me now and then, I'm certain that almost all men say nice things to their wives but then, there is this ecstasy attached when the compliments come from another man. It's like seeking to be validated even though, you already know it's true.

We both laughed about the stalker talk with our gazes fixed on each other for some seconds or minutes before Tobe broke the silence.

"Well, I still see you as much of a Cooper," he said with a smirk.

"So, how is the food? Did you enjoy it? He asked as I quickly looked away from him and dabbed my mouth with a napkin from the table.

"Yeah, it was good, every bite leaves you craving for more. I just had to stop myself from eating all, let me not be known as the lady that went on a first date and finished all the food." I said as I laugh again and crossed my legs.

"I like that," Tobe said and smiled.

"Like what?" I asked

"You just said "the first date" meaning there would be more," He said and winked

"Well, we are here already, aren't we? We will see about that." I said back and winked too.

"So what's up with you, work, your husband, the kids, and everything? Tell me what you have been up to the last two weeks." He said while he folded his arms.

"Well, work has been fine, my husband and the kids are fine as well and as you can see, I'm doing good. What about you? I asked.

"Been thinking about you" he said as he moved to the edge of the table and stretched his hands across the table to mine.

"I really love you, Anna, let's explore the world together. You know I never stopped loving you, I tried to get over you by getting into some relationships but no lady could ever take your place. There is so much that I want to do but I want to try them all with you if you'd let me. I know you are married and the kids too, but can you just put all that aside and live in the moment. We will take it a step at a time and all will be fine." He said convincingly still holding on to my hands.

"But..." I tried to say something before Tobe interrupted me.

"No "buts", I'm not saying you should leave your husband or do anything insane. Just give me a chance and if you don't like what you get, the door is open but I'm sure you would not. I promise I'm not gonna hurt you or your marriage"

"I don't know what to say, Tobe."

"Don't say anything, just follow my lead" he said and smiled.

"Tell me one thing, do you have a fantasy? Anyone at all wild or not, I want you to be free, put me to a test, and let me try to impress you." He said and relaxed back in the chair while I just laugh at his question

"Okay then, I'd like to see you try, I'd like to have s*x right here right now"

"Okay, that's a wild one," he said as he looked around him. I never meant it when I said, he was too confident in himself and I wanted to put off some of his egos. So I just sat there calmly, laughing with an obvious "I got you now" face. I was still looking at him look around the dining hall when I felt some movements on my left leg, I was about to look under the table to see what was crawling on my leg when Tobe told me not to.

"Don't, don't look, and don't shout or we will be banned from here and you know what Spicea means to your company. Just sit and relax, I will do all the work" he said as he makes his way up my skirt and worked his way all around my under till I was so wet. He wore his shoes back and told me he was going to the restroom. I sat there and watched him pick up his phone and walk away. I was on my seat for roughly three minutes weighing its options. I was horny as f**k and wanted Tobe badly but I also thought about what it will do to my marriage, I already lied to Daniel that I had to work late with Gloria to be with Tobe, but having s*x with him is a whole big and new line I wasn't sure I was already to cross. But heck, we only live once." I jumped on my feet, picked up my purse, and made my way hurriedly to the restroom.

The whole time while Tobe pinned me to the wall and was humping and thrusting in and out hard, I kept on moaning loudly with pictures of Daniel in my head. I wanted to push Tobe away and run out but my body was too weak, it wouldn't succumb to me.

Tobe pulled out of me just before he released me, he lied beside me, we both looked at each other and burst into laughter. We were lying on the floor but I didn't even know how and when I got there. The feeling was out of this world.

"So, did I pass?" Tobe asked as we both walked out of the restroom.

"No comment please," I said as I brought out the phone from my purse.

"Of course I did well," he said as he clapped his hands together and turned around me with smiles all over him.

"Don't flatter yourself just yet" I said as I sat in my chair.

"I have to go now, it's really late before Dan gets worried and calls my boss. I said as I quickly got up from my chair on seeing the missed calls from Dan.

"You know, you never mentioned how you, you know, convinced Dan to allow you come to see me" Dan mumbled

"Well, that's my little secret" I mumbled too.

"Alright, when next do I get to see you?"

"I really don't know," I said as Tobe holds my hand and we walk out of the restaurant.

"The stars look extremely nice today, you know why?" Daniel asks

"Why," I asked while I unlocked my car.

"Because you are the star, and you are so beautiful," He says as he closed the car door stopping me from entering.

We ended up having another round of mind-blowing s*x in my car before I drove home and we both went out separate ways.
