LOST TO LUST

THE OUTSET

"It really felt good actually, I felt alive again for the first time in years" I replied my therapist, Walter.

"Thanks for being honest Anna, but just to get you clearly, you mean you enjoyed it the first time you had s*x with Tobe, right?" Walter asked

"Yes, I did. There was a brief moment of guilt afterward which Tobe helped shake off when we had the second round in his car" I answered as I started to picture that night in my head.

"Can you give me more details about that night? Tell me exactly how it happened and how it all led to s*x"

"It was two weeks after Tobe and I reconnected at the work dinner. He had offered to take me out for dinner which I agreed to. During dinner with him, he brought up the proposal talk again and after much persuasion, I decided to give him a chance and explore what the universe had for me outside my marriage. And that was how the affair started, I made up my mind that night to give another man besides my husband access to my body." I explained and gulped down the glass of water Walter's secretary had offered me earlier at the start of the session.

"When was the first time he asked you out? Cause you just mentioned "the proposal talk" meaning you have talked before the dinner, am I right?" Walter asked

"Yeah... He had made his intentions known before that night, and it was the day after we met, he came to my office to finalize the contract deal and that was when he first told me about his intentions." I replied while trying to look away.

"Did you tell your husband about him? Does your husband know that the client you met with on your anniversary turned out to be Tobe?" Walter asked as he jots down in his black book which had a string attached to his table, he was sitting in a cushioned chair a few feet away from his desk so he had to pull the string to his position.

"It wasn't a big deal at the time, I felt there was no reason to tell him, nothing happened so there was nothing to tell"

"Okay, but is that the usual practice? You go to meetings and don't talk about it with your husband? Especially late night meetings"

"Well, that night was my first night out with a client and it was a last-minute decision. One of my superiors was supposed to meet with Tobe that evening but he was unavailable so I had to step in on the instruction of my boss. About your other question, my husband and I don't keep things from each other, I give him every little detail about my work even when he does not ask"

"Did it occur to you that you decided to shut your husband out of your business with Tobe because you already had it in mind to pursue things right from the outset with Tobe and you didn't want to give Daniel any reason to suspect your movements? He asked and stared at me

"I don't think so, I knew there was a connection between Tobe and me that night but I had no plans whatsoever to cheat on Daniel then?" I replied and adjusted well in my chair.

"Well, from my point of view, I don't think the issue is Tobe. Anna, you would have given in even if it was not him that night. You already had it in mind to test the outdoor water, you needed attention... Your husband isn't doing anything fun with you anymore... No more wildness in the bedroom... All these and other reasons led to your reaction that night. You knew exactly what you were doing Anna. Do you agree?

"You are the expert..." I replied but my body language agreed with him.

"Okay, let's move forward. Between when Tobe asked you out and when you accepted his proposal at the dinner date, did you think about it? I mean did you give his proposal a thought before the date or it was not premeditated?" He asked still staring at me.

"I wouldn't say I thought about it or didn't but what I know for sure is I did not dwell on it. But seeing him that night and how much he was ready to go just to get me, I forgot all about my worries and gave in"

"Okay, So you followed your heart that night but did you at any point tried to talk to Daniel about the way you felt about your marriage and possibly your s*x life? I know you mentioned trying to get things right at some point but what I'm keen about is, did you open up to him about the specific issues you were having and especially when you realized you were having feelings for Tobe? He asked

"Of course I did, I remember we even talked for a while that morning before we went to work, he didn't see it as a big deal so he just brushed it off and kissed me goodbye before going to his work"

"So you are saying you spoke with your husband about the issue in the morning before you met with Tobe in the evening. Do you think his response and reaction were the reason you gave in to Tobe? Walter asked as he sips his water.

"Maybe, maybe not, I don't blame him though, I accept responsibility for everything that happened but I think things would have possibly turned out differently if only Daniel took the matter more serious that morning" I replied

"Okay, good. I think we are making a headstart today. You mentioned earlier that you had the second round of s*x in his car, so where did the first round take place?

"It happened at the restaurant. After I told him I would go out with him, he asked me if I had any fantasy or probably a to-do list and I told him I would like to have s*x right there in the restaurant and he just agreed. It was quite funny cause I said it as a joke I didn't mean it or that he would agree."

"So you had s*x in the restaurant"

"Yes, we started right where we were seated. I just giggled when he said he would f**k me right where I was seated, I thought he was joking until he puts off his black suede shoe and stretched his right leg towards my thighs, I quickly spread my legs in shock so his leg was rested on the chair between my thighs. I was seated directly opposite him in my black short gown so it was easy to make his way up the gown.
