“Such a nice surprise. Alex didn’t mention that you would be joining us this evening, Cassandra.” Ivan said to Cassandra Holmes, an attorney for one of the businesses Ivan shared with Alex Marcollies.
She kissed Ivan’s cheek hello and he slid his arm around her waist to guide her along with him and the others to one of the private meeting rooms. She smiled and leaning into him, pressing her hand to his chest and whispering into his ear as they walked.
“I’ve missed you. You haven’t called in months.” She said softly.
