Serena’s POV
I woke up to the faint sound of beeping, I looked around, and I was in a strange environment, and the walls were painted white. I looked to my left to see an IV attached to my hand. I flexed my hand as I inspected the drip, it was almost finished.
I sat up with great difficulty, placing my hand on my forehead. What exactly happened the night before? I remember vomiting, but then what happened?
Just then a nurse entered. “You are awake ma’am, you are not supposed to be sitting up,” she said as she moved to help me lie down. I resisted her advances
“How long have I been out?” I asked her as I placed a hand on my forehead.
“Not too long ma, it's been 8 hours.” the nurse said as she adjusted the IV drip and opened the windows.
