Winter's Point of View
I feel the calmness coming off my mate in waves. I am so happy he didn't reject me. I pushed that thought to the back of my head, and I am allowing myself to be happy for once. As we were walking out of the hospital, one of the people I saw at the gate when I got here came rushing up, which made me cower behind Blake. “Alpha has been trying to mind-link you. There is a bear at the gates saying his sisters are here, and he wants to see them,” he says worriedly. “Let him in, I'm assuming it's Autumns brother,” Blake says. “Miss. Carter is your brother’s name, Coal, and also where is your sister? Because, from my understanding, the only bear we let in so far was you.” He questions, “Yes, that's my brother, and this is my sister, your Luna Winter,” when Autumn says that Paul looks mad. “Alpha, no offense, but when did you get your mate and why is she a bear I will not follow a bear or treat her as my Luna.” what he said must have made Blake furious because I can feel rage through the mate bond. He pulls me out from behind him.“Bow!” Confused, I start to bow, but he stops me. “Not you love. Paul, I want you to bow to your Luna and show her respect.” He hesitates upon hearing his words, “NOW!” He uses his Alpha tone, forcing him into submission. “Now apologize to her, she's not only your Luna but my mate and I refuse to let you disrespect her, not only that but she not a bear she's a werewolf, Autumn and Winter are not sisters through blood but hardships they have gone through a lot together so yes she is coals sister, and you will treat both autumn and coal with as much respect as you would treat your own beta because Coal is the beta to Treeridge pack.” upon hearing Blake's words he gets on his hands and knees to bow to me “I am truly sorry to the both of you I will inform them to let your brother in immediately” he said with shame rolling off of him “go on back to your position paul don't let this happen again.” Blake tells him.
I start to shake in fear. When he turns to look at me, I find it hard to look in his eyes. Silent tears slide down my face. He goes to wipe them away, but the movement scares me and I end up flinching and taking a step back. "I am so sorry love, I didn’t realize it—" "Of course you didn't think. I didn't care what he thought, I just—" I snapped at him. I turned away from him before shifting into my wolf and running into the forest to blow off some steam.
My wolf ash is happy to be out, but she's frustrated at Blake for being such a d****ss. Of course, he didn't think about how it’d make me feel if he used his alfa dominance on Paul, and it honestly hurt. He should know by now what that can do. Sure, I'm thankful for him standing up for me, but he could have just explained it. I didn't need Paul to bow to me. I'm not even officially the Luna. Yes, technically, I am a Luna in waiting because I'm his mate, but that doesn't mean I should take advantage of that. That makes me think of my brother River. “Wait a minute. Where is that a**hat I haven't seen him yet?” I say to Ash. “I don't know. Do you want to go back and ask where he is?” she asks. “That means going to my mate, and I'm mad at him right now.” I say, “Fair enough, but you do know we are going to have to go back eventually,” Ash says while laughing. “Yeah, yeah you just want to go see our mate.” I say also laughing.
While running, I see a beautiful pond with a cave. I wander up to the top of the cave and lay down on its flat surface. I don't want to explore it, in case there's something in it. I don't want to find, plus this gives me a good vantage point so no one can sneak up on me. As I'm watching the fish in the pond, I notice Autumn coming up.

Blake's Point of View
When I see her run off into the woods, I'm left there shell shocked. “Way to go jackass, you scared her. I'll go talk to her. Get my brother, and we'll go find her,” Autumn says, shaking her head with a smirk. “No, I'll go, I'm her mate, and I'm the one who scared her.” When I said this, she stopped in her tracts and turn to me “Blake no offense, but you're the one who scared her if she saw you while in her wolf form she will definitely see you as a threat and attack you, let coal and I do this or better, yet you go get my brother, and I'll go find Winter she's seen my bear form she will trust me a hell of a lot more than anyone in this pack right now.” I think about what she says for a second and I agree “coal, and I will be at the pack house”
I watched as Autumn went into the woods after Winter before going to the pack gates. When I get there, I immediately see coal being surrounded by some of my warriors. “Back off, he is a guest. Paul should have already informed you all of that. Why haven't you informed them that he's a guest and to let him through?” I say, irritated. “I did tell them they wouldn't listen. They told me that if the order didn't come from you directly, they weren't going to back down,” he said, and he started to look worried. “Never deny Beta Carter of the Treeridge pack access to the pack. He is allowed to come and go as he pleases and will be making a pack-wide announcement of him and his family being here. I have quite a few things to announce. Welcome, Coal, I'm sorry about the trouble that my pack has caused you already.” I say, “It's not a problem. They were only doing their job plus bears and wolves don't exactly have the best history,” he says, understandingly. I'm actually glad he didn't get upset. “Your sister is in the woods looking for Winter. I may or may not have pissed winter off, so she took off. I was instructed by Autumn to take you back to the pack house, so that's where we'll head. They should be back soon,” I say to him. “Sounds good to me.” I notice he's a man of few words, which is okay opposite of his sister, who is a bit of a chatter box, not that I'm complaining, because it keeps winter talking too, and I love to hear her voice. “So what did you do to piss off Winter?” he asks I guess curiosity got the better of him “I used a domineering tone to one of my pack members and I guess she didn't take to well to that. That and I stood up for her and made him bow to her and apologize for being an idiot.” When I say that he laughs so hard, he has to stop. “What?” I ask. “You have a lot to learn about Winter, my friend a lot.” he says with a smile. It felt nice for someone that Winter sees as family call me friend, it made me feel closer to my mate.
