Blake's Point of View
"Alfa, Luna, they found your daughter," I say proudly, way more excited than I should be. "This isn't a joke with my daughter. Why must you mock me when, just a few hours ago, you told us to get ready to do a burial ceremony because she might just be dead and not missing?" Alfa Drake says angrily. "I know what I said, but I was just informed that she was found, and she's on her way now. She'll be here in about thirty minutes," I say. Luna Maleeya breaks down in tears. "My mother is getting her room ready. You guys may stay here a little longer until we can examine her and let her heal." I don't want her to travel so much, knowing their territory is a long way from mine. "Yes, that will be fine. Thank you, Alfa," Alfa Drake says with a handshake. I return it, I can't stop the feeling of pride in my chest, knowing after eight long years I have finally found her. "The pleasure is all mine," they excuse themselves and prepare to see their long-lost daughter.
I busy myself with paperwork while i wait for what seems like hours. I sure hope Josh really found her, and he's not just pulling my leg. I'm sure I'd be a dead man. I get pulled out of my thoughts by the most wonderful smell that ever touched my nose. I didn't think it was possible. I thought I was damned to live a life without a mate. Could my nose be wrong? There isn't anyone new in my territory. "Alfa, we're here." My Beta Josh mind links me. "Bring her straight to my office. I need to meet her." "What about her seeing her parents first?" Josh asks suspiciously. "I just need to check something first. Please Josh, I wouldn't be asking if it wasn't important." I pleaded with him. "Well, there's really nothing I can do now, her parents kinda rushed her as soon as they saw the car," he says, sounding kinda defeated. "Are you okay Josh?" "Yeah just tired and its putting me in a weird headspace." He says.
The scent is coming closer, and it's almost making me overwhelmed. My wolf keeps prancing around in my head. "Her scent is making my wolf go crazy." I tell Josh while trying to keep myself in check, not wanting to lose control of my wolf and scare her. "Do you think she could be..." "Maybe I'm not sure did anyone else come with her?" "Actually, yes there is someone with her. She's a bear and her name is Autumn and I strongly doubt she'd be your mate, considering she just rejected and left hers," he says, almost afraid of my reaction. He knows my views on bears. "Why would she bring a bear into a wolf pack? Does she not know that bears are normally a threat to us?" I try to stay calm through my agitation. There must be a good reason she chose to bring autumn. "Well, you can ask her yourself because she's at your door waiting to be let in. You've just been in your mind linking with me too long to notice. You're welcome for distracting your wolf for you. I don't need you to be a mess when you meet Winter in front of her family and Autumn. She's very protective of winter." "Come in." I say to winter and her family.
