It’s a Small World
Lacey had combed every inch of the hotel getting to know the layout. She hated the old jail but wasn’t sure what to do about it. Workers were everywhere she looked and she started feeling like she was getting in the way. She decided to go down to the saloon and trading post and take a break.
Joseph Long saw her walking past the store and called out to her. He had been doing a little shopping and searching catalogs he had recently gotten in the mail. In one of the catalogs was a pressurized water system with a pump that could supply an entire hotel. Lacey liked the idea and he ordered her one.
