Chapter 16 Riders in the night The day was coming to a close, and Jeff was getting anxious about the gold in the cave. He had marked his way from the grave to the iron door with white chalk. It was several miles of great places to die. He literally had to climb up a small waterfall in one place not far from the entry. Other places had intersecting shafts that he walked past going in, and then he wasn’t sure if they were the right way out coming back.
