Chapter 24 The next time I woke up I was alone and definitely ready to get out of bed. I untangled myself from blankets and bedsheets and made my way to the window. The sun was rising over the ridge on the opposite side of the river I couldn't quite see through all the trees. So I had slept all day and all night.
