After the longest two hour drive of his life, Cal caught sight of the beta house. Before Darrin even pulled in the driveway, he was out the door and running for the front door. He let himself in like he usually did, and rushed inside. When he reached the living room, he found Brady, Charlotte, and two people he didn’t recognize. No Kai, but he could sense her nearby.
