Assassination Attempt
I try very hard to lay low and as Lisa would say, “not meddle in other people’s business”. I even light the two candles for Unpredictable Nimiron. I still listen in on the rumors as I come and go in the city and ask the old beggar what he heard when we meet.
There was a failed attempt on Sir Arynn’s life. The assassin was arrested. I find out with a short inquiry he was one of our men. Fortunately, I personally don’t know him but I still feel terrible. I want to do the right thing I just don’t know what it would be. What is good for one party is bad for the other.
The nobleman’s entourage gets back to town after hearing the news. They somehow convince Sir Arynn to leave the holding cells. This time they stay at the Black Bull. I stake out the tavern for a few days,
