Once the door to Nic's club house closed I let my tears finally fall. I slowly made my way back to my car and drove home. When I entered I went to my office and locked myself in until it was time for the meeting. My heart was still in a lot of pain and I buried myself in work. I listed showings and made some phone calls. I looked at requests from omega staff and any disputes that needed attending to. I looked over Olivia's warrior training schedule that she made and Trenton's suggestions to some of the protocols we had for the omegas.
Once all of my work was completed I left my office and showered again hoping to wash away the past few hours. Of course it didn't work but it did help a little bit. The more that went on the more my pain lessened. I had severed my mate bond so e
