Fifty-Four: JaredAdmittedly, the conversation that followed my running over Bobby's foot that morning had been one-sided. Mostly just me telling him to f**k off and shut his ever-running mouth. I didn't know if it was a curse or a blessing that I was stuck in the stupid chair, because I might have done some damage. Actually, I knew I would have. I punched my locker so hard after the crowd had dispersed that I split my knuckle open, and it hurt like a b***h. I had to go to the nurse for bandages, and I decided to borrow her crutches while I was there. No more chair. No more people looking down to talk to me.
