Colton's Confession

Cain's POV

We submitted to her; we didn't even fight it, our mate is stable!

Shut up, Cain, we submitted because she is the Alpha daughter.  After running through the woods with our mate and Jaxon, all of my pent up energy was gone.  I felt drastically relieved to see her in wolf form, but I was pissed that Jaxon was nuzzling with my god damn mate.  

    Mina understood why we bowed down and submitted; Mina is a smart she-wolf.  She tried reaching out to me, but Marena wouldn't let her.  Marena is more substantial then we anticipated.

    Just how strong is Marena?  She shifted with minimal pain, but she handled it so gracefully.  I don't think something is right here; I think I need to talk to Marena and now.

    What if she knew Colton about six months ago, would our mates still want us?

    "s**t, I never thought about that!!"

    Five minutes later I'm about to wear the floor down in front of her bedroom door, I suddenly am brought out of my transfixed state when I hear her sultry voice, "Colton, I know you are out there just come in."

    I turned the knob, and I pushed open the door, I growled as soon as I saw her walk out of her bathroom with a black towel wrapped around her body.  My eyes dropped to the bottom of the cloth as it was halfway up her thigh, and her wet hair was messy, and she was drying it with another towel.  My eyes traveled up her body to her bare shoulders and her piercing emerald green eyes, but I noticed something they were a light green now.  I thought to myself, that's weird I've seen dark emerald green eyes until now, what's changed.

    She coughed, and that brought me out of my thoughts, "Colton, why are you here?"  Oh, I wanted to talk to you, and check in on you and see how you are handling things.  "I'm handling them as good as I can after finding out I'm a she-wolf," she said.  Marena looked at me, and I noticed her eyes were back to their emerald green.  I heard her purr, "Can I ask you a question, Colton?"   I knew it was not just Marena, but Mina, she was on the surface, and I knew I needed to tread lightly.  I replied and said, "Yes, ladies, what can I answer for you?"  "Does my father know what you did to that boy," she asked.  Cain groaned she knows, she knows, tread lightly she looks like she's going to rip our throat out. I hesitated, she walked towards me seductively, and she ran her fingers down my neck and to my shoulders, she pulled me in front of her, so I was directly aligned with her body.  I instinctively grabbed her hips and pulled her towards me, she grabbed my face and pulled me in, so our lips were merely touching.  She smiled and said, "I asked you a question, Cain, now answer your Alpha!"  Cain growled, "I saw him touch you, you told him, no, and I took over nobody is allowed to hurt you, ladies."  

    She used her Alpha voice on me and said, "Did you not think that I wouldn't know that it was you, she kissed my lips then she said the word, MATE!"  I looked at her eyes and saw that they were back to their light green appearance, so her emerald green eyes shone through when Mina was close to the surface, her control was too good for a new shifter.  

    "You are right Colton, my control is rather good for being a new shifter, but now let me share a secret with you, I knew what you did the second you did it.  I knew what I was six months ago, the night that you killed poor Jason for not listening to me," she said.  Now I want to tell you something that even my father doesn't know.  "I am not only your Alpha, but I am a hybrid," she smiled as she said it.  

    "What do you mean, a hybrid?  Our Luna was a she-wolf. She was very powerful for being a Beta's daughter."  She laughed and pulled my shirt and brought me closer, Mate,  Ask your dear wolf what I am," she crushed her lips against mine and let her towel fall.  She made her nail turn into a claw and sliced my shirt open, and ripped it off of me.  "My dear Colton, you are so sexy, I can't imagine how you taste, but I'm willing to find out, " she said possessively.

Our Mate she wants us, she wants us even though she knows we killed that kid.

    I cleaned up and started a bath with some Epsom salt.  She was going to be sore, but as I walked back to the bedroom, "Hey babe, I started a bath for you, so you aren't sore later."  She wasn't there, I thought maybe she went downstairs to get some food, but then I saw a note on the bed.
