Marena's POV
I went to sleep with my children in my arms; it has been the first peaceful night of sleep I've had in a long time. When I woke up, I stretched my arms out and noticed that I was alone in bed, and I instantly panicked. Jaxon felt my panic, and he immediately sent a mind link, "Love, you slept a full day. Melani took the kids back home after a few hours last night. No need to worry, I will be up soon with breakfast." I sighed instantly of relief. I sat up in bed and grabbed my phone from the nightstand. I looked and saw 32 missed phone calls and 40 missed text messages.
I listened to the voicemail, and it was from Greg, "Marena, we have an issue here at headquarters, Mitus showed up, and he is irate that you are not here. Marena, I'm trying to hold them off the bes
