Ryan's POV

    I thought when the cell door opened that it would be Marena, coming to give me another chance to explain.  Instead came in Lily, running to wrap her arms around my neck.  I've never been so angry to see someone in my life; she didn't understand how much of her life she was risking to be here.  This girl is f*****g crazy.  She didn't finish her sentence when the guard pulls us apart; she was angry and looked like she would kill someone.  The moment Lily walked into the cell, I knew Marena had given up on any thought of us, but God did I miss everything about her.  Hopefully she would give me a chance to explain what happened before any drastic measures are happening.  When I heard more rattling of chains behind me, I c****d my head to the side and saw Colton and his father James, along with Lily walking freely next to me, this can't be good.  The guard stopped, while he bowed his head in respect, my guess was to pay respects to the Alpha. However, I caught a glimpse of who he was bowing to, my mate.

Marena's POV

    I saw the guard from the dungeon bring up Lily, Ryan, James, and Colton in chains, except Lily.  Once everyone was standing in front of me, I stepped towards Lily and asked, "Why are you here?"  She sneered at me, "I'm here for the love of my life."  I threw my head back and laughed, with Jaxon at my side I heard the rest of the pack laugh as well.  "Walk each of them to the middle, please, and make sure to place Ryan and Lily next to each other," I mind linked the guard.  Doing as I ask Lily and Ryan were the first one's places, while James was in the middle, and Colton was in the end.  I walked in front of the Council who was present, Ariana who was a female shifter who has seen a lot in her times, Arian who is a vampire and is nearly impossible to kill, and lastly Ram, the witch who has been a mentor to me and has known my father for many years.  Clarissa called forth the ancestors who blessed this ritual, and she handed a knife to my father, who spliced his hand, then cut my hand, and we joined hands as one.  His powers are transferring to my body, I was compelling before, but now I'm unstoppable.  The Elders then placed their hands up, calming down the Blue Crescent pack and all of the visitors here to see the first hybrid take over as Alpha.  The Elders came forward to me and bowed in front of me, Ariana, Arian, and Ram came to me earlier to let me know that a coronation would be happening since I am the first hybrid to be born and take on as Alpha they thought I should be Queen of the werewolf people, and keep calm between all creatures of this realm.  I didn't have much of choice but to accept, so here goes nothing as Ram places the crown on my head, and says repeat after me,

 I, Marena Gotti, promise to protect my people, and other shifters in this realm.  

I promise to maintain a neutral attitude, and I promise to always make things right between our people.

I promise to compromise, and I promise to lead my people with courage and respect.

Everyone was in shock at what had just happened; I asked Jaxon to come forward.  Jaxon instantly flanked my side; everyone's eyes were wide.  "Today, you have witnessed my coming forth as the First Alpha Hybrid; you also witnessed my coronation as Queen of the Werewolf People.  Now I have some more news for you, first, let me introduce to you my guardian and my Beta Jaxon Grenada.  You will treat him with the same respect you treat me with, and he will also be the prince of the werewolf people ruling by my side."  Jaxon's eyes got big, and he mind linked me, "Marena, what's going on? We didn't talk about this," he said.  I said back, "Jaxon, I know you can feel the mate bond, and I wouldn't ask you to choose now, but I'm hoping someday you will find me worthy of being your mate."  He got pale and swallowed hard; he said, "I love you, always have."  I glanced at my father, and he had tears in his eyes, he knew that this was a night never to forget.

I stepped down in front of the Elders and let them know that now, they needed to watch my rule as the rightful heir to the throne.  They nodded and said they would only step in if it was necessary but would warn me before they did it, so they didn't make me look bad.  I called forth Ryan, Lily went to step forward, but Ryan shook his head and shoved her back while the guard bear-hugged her.  Ryan kneeled in front of me and begged, "Marena, please look at me.  I'm sorry, I never wanted things to go out like this, but I was tired of waiting for you to mate with me."  I grew furious, I raised my Alpha voice, "How dare you say you were tired of waiting for me, considering the night I left, you had told me you had waited for an eternity for your mate.  Now once Lily comes along, then you shove your d**k someplace it doesn't belong, on top of it.  I forgave you, I mated with you and then you went and cheated with your w***e witch!"  Ryan shook his head, "Lily isn't a witch, I don't know what you think you see, but she's not."  I looked directly at Lily and said, "Kareena, I'm over your childish black magic.  Since you had the chance to tell him and didn't, now, it's my turn, you stupid girl."  She stepped towards me, and I flicked my hand and put a barrier around her, Schützen Sie Meine Leute (protect my people), so if she tried to use magic, it would only hurt her.

Ryan watched as Lily turned into Kareena, her body changed into curvy from petite and her hair got longer, her blue eyes were now a pale gray.  Ryan looked disgusted with her.  "Oh, Ryan, let me tell you a little story about your w***e Kareena here.  She was a good little witch, but then she disobeyed her elders, and she was drained of her magic, and she was kicked out of her coven.  Kareena turned to black magic, thinking she would get what she wanted.  She poisoned you to think that you were my mate, so she could peek into your brain while you were touching her to try using anything against me, but she failed.  When I mated you, I only did it one-sided so that I could feel what you were feeling.  What you fail to realize is that I allowed you to do the right thing; instead, you continued to commit an act of treason not only to your pack but to your mate."  Ryan looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, "If only I had not been out on the boundary the night you left."  I looked at Ryan, "You couldn't have known she was poisoning you, however, I will break the knots she has put on you, but there is something else you should know.  He looked up at me, and I heard Kareena screaming through the barrier, trying to use black magic on me, "Don't you f*****g tell him, this is our news.  Not yours!"  I smiled and looked directly at Ryan I helped him to stand, I placed my lips on his, and I let the truth unfold in his mind breaking all ties he had with Kareena.  I pulled back, and he gasped, "She's pregnant, no...no way, please don't let her give birth to my baby."  Ryan dropped to his knees, and he started panting.  "Ryan this is your lucky day, I have released all bonds to you from everyone, so now I offer you a choice.  Ryan, you can lose your wolf and live in the human world, or you can pledge your allegiance now and be my 2nd Beta."  He reluctantly stood up and bowed, "My Queen, I will only serve you, nobody else."  "Very well, Ryan, you will be the third in command to your Queen, now go sit next to Jaxon." 

 "James, step forward now."  James sneered and stepped forward, "You stupid b***h, I would be Alpha if it hadn't been for Colton falling in love with you."  I used my Alpha voice, "James, you can shut up now.  I am your Queen, and because you committed an act of treason to the future Alpha and the past Alpha, I will be taking your wolf and killing you here.  I want you to suffer the way you made my family suffer, the way you made your sons suffer."  James c****d his head up, "I only have one son."  I laughed, "If only that were true, I guess we should enlighten the rest of the pack now too."

I stalked around James, he didn't move, but I could tell if I took my eyes off him, he would try to place a threat on me.  My beloved Blue Crescent Wolves, I would like to invite you to know this poor excuse of a wolf here.  You see, one day, when the Rogue's attacked and killed Jaxon's parents, while they were protecting my father, it was indeed James who plotted with the Rogues to attack your pack.  What nobody knew is that he was sleeping with Rogue's leader; when James attacks failed, she wanted him to live with her.  She had a secret, she was pregnant with Jame's Xavier's child, except this child would be born without a father or a mother.  You see, James found out she was pregnant and had plotted her murder, in hopes that the pup would die too.  The doctor's told James that the pup had died, but truth be told that pup never died.  The previous Luna, my mother, adopted the pup the same day I was born.  We were both born on June 2nd, my twin brother Liam wasn't my twin at all, but he had come from a rogue pack that wanted him to have a good life, my mother was half-witch, so she covered it all up.  What was even worse is you had revenge plotted through Colton to avenge for not taking over the pack immediately, but you got him to kill his brother.

To make matters worse, the Luna was also your previous lover's sister, who took Liam in as her own.  So now, James now is the time for you to suffer horribly."  James stood there baffled, he fell to his knees, "I'm so sorry, please forgive me."  I looked at Colton, and he nodded.  I reached forward, letting my claws dig into James' neck, allowing the blood drain from his body, watching while his wolf died.  He could not heal because I used my powers to stop the healing process.

I told the guard to release Colton, Colton turned into Cain and ripped his father's body apart.  He howled so that everyone could feel his pain.  He pushed back to the surface and put his wolf back into the corner of his mind.  The guard was instructed to chain Colton on each of his limbs to the structures below him, and he was sacrificed in front of the pack, neighboring packs, and the elder council.  "You all may think that I'm vicious, or that I'm avenging for what has happened in the past.  I'm avenging for the pain that has been caused.  I have allowed Colton to live but without his wolf.  Nobody will remember who he is once his wolf is gone, and he will not have any memory of us."  The gasps in the crowd, the murmurs, "This could kill him."  I stood in front of Colton, I'm going to break your wolf, and I have to let you bleed out, but you need to fight this so that you can live Colton."  He looked at me with pale green eyes, "Will you kiss me, one last time."  I stepped forward and snaked my arms around his neck and crushed our lips together; I felt his tongue pry open my lips as he was trying to hold onto me through the heavy chains on his hands.  We broke apart, and we were both gasping for air, Colton dropped to his knees, and the blood started dripping from his neck where I had cut him with my claws.

In my native tongue, I said:

Meine Vorfahren, ich rufe nach dir. Mondgöttin Ich rufe euch auf, Coltons Wolf loszuwerden und seinen Menschen hervorzubringen. Ich brege nun alle Bande, die mit Colton gebildet wurden, um ihm zu ermöglichen, als Mensch in dieses Reich zurückzukehren.

My ancestors, I call for you. Moon Goddess, I call for you to help rid of Colton's wolf and bring forth his human. I now break all bonds formed with Colton to allow him to return to this realm as human.  Colton's body started thrashing, but I moved forward, and I touched his face, "Colton, you can do this."  Colton's body draining of blood, and then a surge of energy bolted through him, and he was gone.  I knew that it had worked, and he would wake up in his bed with new memories of a different life.

The pack was intrigued as to what would happen since I was full of surprises, many thought I was revengeful, some thought that this was what they deserved, while others were confused on why the council didn't step in.
