The Luna's Last Day

June 2nd

The Luna woke up from her sleep, deeply disturbed that she was having dreams of Colton.  They did just have a romp yesterday and almost got caught, good thing her kids were late getting in from school.  She had been sleeping with Colton on and off for the last six months, she felt it was so that he could keep a close eye on Marena, but he always left when she got home or was around.  She could feel him around, though; his presence made her suspicious and horny.  

Luna rolled over and looked at the clock it said 4 am, the kids won't be up for a while.  She went down to the kitchen in her nightie and robe and made some coffee; suddenly, she could feel his presence at the door, he slowly opened the door she didn't turn towards him.  "Where have you been, Liam?"  Liam had on basketball shorts and a hoody, that is not what he left in.  Liam replied, "I went for a run, mom."  "With who, it's 4 am and I know you didn't come home last night so that I will ask again.  With who?"  Liam walked past his mother and turned around, "I went for a run with Colton."  "Who?" she replied.  "Colton, Mom, the member of our wolf pack, did you not think I wouldn't figure this s**t out.  You kept it a secret for long enough."  The Luna pulled back, "How dare you speak to me that way I am your mother, and I am your Luna."  "Yeah, some Luna you are, you can't even keep your panties on when you are f*****g god knows who!"  She was taken back, "What are you insinuating?"  He threw the panties from yesterday down, " I found them under the counter, so you are having s*x with someone other than dad, or you are m**********g in the kitchen and can't keep track of your stuff."  She gasped and said, "I uhh...I did no such thing; they must have fallen out of the laundry basket.  How dare you accuse me of these things.  How did you meet Colton?"  "It's none of your business, just like it's none of my business what I'm doing."  I'm going to shower before Marena gets up.

The Luna was shocked by her son's outburst, but she wondered why Colton was hanging around Liam. The mind link from Luna to Colton asked him to come to the woods near their house.  Before she even finished the mind link Colton was standing outside her door, she opened the door, and he said, "Well this is a pleasant surprise Luna, morning fun before the children come downstairs?"  Luna smiled, "I just want a tease!"  Sit at the counter, and I'll start some breakfast, she was whisking up the eggs to make egg bites in her instapot when Colton came up behind her and started trying to kiss on her neck.  She lightly pushed him away, "Colton, I want to talk to you about something."  Colton looked at her, "What about?  You want to leave the Alpha and be my lover?"  Luna looked at him with bright green eyes, "Colton, I want the kids to know that we are in a relationship and that I've decided to leave their father for someone that loves me."  Colton stopped dead in his tracks, looking at her with a questioning look.  "I don't love you, why would you think I loved you?" he said.  

Liam came down the stairs; he heard raised voices but realized it wasn't his father's voice that he understood.  Liam listened to his mother say she wanted to leave his father, but for who?  Now Liam slowly walked to the kitchen he saw Colton in the kitchen getting angry with his mother, Liam yelled at Colton, "What the f**k are you doing yelling at my mom like that?"  His mother turned around and said, "Liam, honey, it's fine; we just thought you should know the truth.  I'm leaving your father so that Colton and I can be together; you don't need to worry you are the Alpha's son."  Colton raised his hand, and Liam saw it turn into a paw, Liam stood in front of Colton and yelled, "Don't you f*****g touch her, she is my mom, and you have no right to be here you filthy bastard!"  Colton continued to bring his hand down until his claws caught Liam's jugular vein and left deep claw marks down his chest.  Liam instantly grabbed for his neck, Colton sneered, "Did you think I cared for you or your mother, I'm going to take you both out so you cannot take away my mate, my one true love."  Liam fell back against his mother's chest she held him and started sobbing, but she couldn't get out any words except, "WHY?  Why did you do this to my son, to me?"  Colton sneered "to be honest it was never about you, you were a good f**k, but you were to pass the time until Marena could sense I was her mate, but if we are fair I will take out your heart because your dear boy was your heart, as Marena is her father's."  Colton then extended his paw into the Luna's chest and ripped out her heart; he then threw it in the bowl of eggs, "Dumb b***h!"  

Colton heard the door open from upstairs, Cain told him to get the hell out of there.

Why? I want to meet our Mate; she will love us.

Are you mental, you just killed her brother, her twin brother, for that fact!  She is going to reject us if she thinks we had anything to do with it, but she smells so good.   She smells like honeysuckle and vanilla. 

Let's see our Mate, she's beautiful every day, but I'm sure she will feel the pull too.

Let's f*****g not; I will never talk to you again if you think of going to see our mate until she comes to us.

Shit the water shut off, and I heard her giggle in the bathroom.  I got to get out of here, so I left out the front door, "I'm sorry, mate, but they were going to get in the way."
