The dining room was filled with a strange atmosphere, and I was just looking at Simon, who was staring at his mom. My heart was beating so fast at that moment, as I was not ready for what would happen. I know that Mrs Tina is eager to learn more about Simon and Katherine's relationship, and I am sure she might ask us later about our actual relationship. I don't know what I would answer if she ever asked me things like that later.
"Ma, what are you saying?" Simon asked while he sounded relaxed and standard. I tried to calm myself and act normal, too, but there was something in me that couldn't stop me from panicking. I couldn't lie and didn't know how to lie to Mrs Tina. She's precious to me, and I always tell the truth to her, and I don't want to ruin her trust in me.
