Chapter 39 Christmas was on us before we knew it, just like last year we started making arrangements with Drolugi's for the use of a room and well as a banquet. As with last dorn we planned on singing carols, possibly a reading of "Twas a night before Christmas," as well as a small midnight service. Andy and Emily wouldn't be with us, his reading of the Clement Moors poem being well received last dorn. Sara had the foresight to purchase or otherwise scrounge up Christmas decorations of various sizes and types on our recent trip back to earth, most being tree decorations. As far as the actual tree was concerned, nobody thought to cut an appropriate tree while we were on earth, so a "Micklemac" tree was substituted.
