Rowan left the building without sparing a glance at the many curious eyes still watching him from behind.
At this moment, the only thing occupying his mind was Cathie.
She was most likely with his assistant, Cedric, right now. That thought alone eased a portion of the tension that had been tightening in his chest. If she was with Cedric, then at least one thing was certain...she was safe.
But that didn't change the fact that someone had deliberately tried to ruin her reputation again… and right in front of her own father.
What amused Rowan even more was the irony of it all. This was his event.His ground. His place. Yet the fools who were scheming all around had absolutely no idea that the very man they were trying to manipulate was already standing right in their midst.
