Cassie stood and hurried toward the door before either man could say anything. She pulled her phone out of her jeans pocket and began to scroll until she found the correct number. Cassie dialed, and while the phone rang, she saw most of the other dinner guests arriving as a group. She waved to them to let them know she saw them and would be inside before she turned away.
