I heard some voices talking. "When will she wake up, doc?" a male voice said.
" She will wake up soon, Alpha," the female voice said. I heard a sigh and the door being closed.
A male voice said" Sophie, can you stay with her for some time? I want to stay, but I have a meeting now with Red Pack "
I heard a voice say, sure Aiden. Don't worry, I'll stay with her. And again I heard the door open and close.
I heard some shuffling near me. I moved my hands. I opened my eyes and tried to sit. I saw Sophie sitting near my bed reading a book. I tried to talk but nothing came out. I saw a book on my night table and I pushed it down. It hit the floor. Sophie turned to me as she heard the noise.
She started " OMG! Alex you awake. She went near my TV where there was a glass of water and bought it to me. I drank the water and said" What happened?"
Sophie hesitated but she explained why he fainted. Reason. My mate.
I was upset. I want to cry. But I won't. I have to be strong. I should make him regret rejecting me.
I saw Sophie looking at me worried. I asked her," would I feel pain again? "
She replied "Yes. When he completes the mating process with Britney. Both of your bond will be broken completely."
I asked," so will I mate less if he completes the mating?"
She replied "Yes. Maybe you will find your mate. A second chance mate. Its rare though."
I replied," Okay. Can we go to the mall? Or somewhere? Please? "
She sighed and said" okay" And she pushed me to the bathroom.
I took a bath and changed into ripped black jeans and a white hoodie and wore my converse and tied my hair into a ponytail.
I went down and saw Sophie. We took one of Aiden's cars and went to the mall. After shopping, we went to the food court and ordered our food and talked.
Sophie said that she would be going to a university which is half an hour away from the pack to train being a doctor. Also, she said that most of our pack attend university even though it's a human city. It seems like Aiden had said some rules to be followed while we are in a human city. Also, that Aiden and Jason are attending online classes instead of going to university.
I also wanted to go to university. So when I went home, I asked Aiden whether I could attend university. He said no. But after convincing him a lot, he said okay. But he said I would be starting my training from tomorrow. I nodded and headed out grinning.
I went and told Sophie that Aiden agreed. She, too, grinned, and we went to my room and watched movies.
I felt someone move beside me. I opened my eyes and saw Sophie being picked up by Drew. I asked him" what are you doing?". He froze. He replied hmm. I just.... Leave it.. I came here to take Sophie with me. I can't sleep without her by my side. I know I sound clingy, but allow me to take her with me."
I replied to him, of course, the i***t took her. She is your mate. "
He smiled at me and said good night Alex. Sleep tight sis.
With that, he closed the door and went.
I hear a voice now" hey Alexandra."

"Who is it?" I asked.
"I'm your wolf Alexandra. My name is Ava. I was not able to contact you before because I myself was broken from the rejection. And after the pain yesterday, our mate marked someone. I thought I wouldn't be able to talk to you. But your thoughts about forgetting him and being brave and ur confidence that we may have a second chance mate woke me up." Ava replied.
" ohh.! "I said.
Ava said" Sleep now Alex. Tomorrow we are starting our training. Good night Alex. "
I replied ," good night Ava."
