Bad Dreams

Eric awoke the next morning with a throbbing headache and no clue how he made it home. The last thing he remembered was that giant wolf that bit his shoulder. It hurt like crazy and the marks he could see were odd to him. He checked his phone to find a text from Rosalyn asking him to call when he gets up so they could talk about last night. She picked up on the second ring and said good morning sleepy head. He asked her what happened last night and how he got home. She asked if he remembered anything and he said some but not really. She asked if they could meet for a picnic in the park and talk in person? He agreed and she said she would bring everything to meet in 30 minutes. Eric was at the park waiting when Rosalyn arrived, he helped her to carry the basket to a nice secluded spot where they could talk. She starts by asking what he remembers and he tells her. He tells about walking with Mason then Damon showing up and how they began to growl at each other. How that freaked him out so much he ran off into the woods to get away. Then he tells her about the giant brown wolf with red eyes that bit his shoulder. At this she gasped and freaked out a little begging him to show her where it bit him. He pulled his shirt off the hurt shoulder and she began crying. Eric didn't understand why she was so upset it wasn't bad and it barely bled at all. He tried to reassure her that he'll be fine but she insisted that he come home with her so that her dad could examine the bite. Eventually he agreed just to get her to calm down.

Once they reached her house Damon came outside to greet them and asked what was the matter. Rosalyn began yelling at him and punching his chest saying that this was all his fault that Eric was bitten. Damon paled and said "BITTEN?" He then yelled for their father and rushed them to his office. Eric was beginning to freak out and was extremely confused about everything going on around him. Rosalyn immediately begins saying "Daddy he got bit by a rogue." Now Eric is more confused what is a rogue? Damon and Rosalyn both talk rapidly to their father telling him what happened. They all stop and look around at a thump to see that Eric has fainted. At this point their mother comes into the room and tells everyone to calm down. She instructs her husband to carry the boy to the infirmary to be examined by the pack doctor.

The doctor took some blood samples and ran a few basic tests and said that now they just need to wait for the results which would take several days. Eric woke in a strange room and began to panic. Rosalyn rushed to him and tried to calm him down. She explained that he fainted and they brought him to the infirmary. Damon appeared on his other side and asked if he was feeling better? "Do you need food? A drink? Anything?", he asked Eric. At this point he was starting to feel awkward with all the attention. Suddenly a man in a lab coat came in the room and said that he's glad to see him awake. He was told that if he was feeling well enough and promised to take it easy for a couple days that he could go. He thanked the man and got out of the bed. He followed the twins outside and they asked if he would like to join them for dinner they were going to the pizza parlor. He said that he would because pizza is his favorite food. While having dinner they chatted about random things and had a lot of fun. After dinner the twins dropped Eric off at home and said that they would see him at school in the morning.
