Michael The buzzer signalled for us to enter and I pushed through the door to a small corridor wincing from the intense fluorescent lights, momentarily letting my eyes adjust to the light invasion. I needed to concentrate this is a serious situation, I needed to be an Alpha, but all I could think about were my so called friends words. My pack member’s slurs whirled in my mind. I felt betrayed and shocked. I had expected some hostility from certain pack members, hell even from my parents about my sexuality. My dad always spoke about his responsibility to the pack and how he wanted me to have my own child to pass on the Alpha bloodline, but they were so accepting. They knew all along, well my mother claimed to know so others would have suspected, right? It wouldn’t have be a huge shock.
