“Mate, buddy, what you saying?” Scotty walked towards me as I pushed my chair back and stood.
“This is mine and Petra’s issue. I can’t risk the members.” I looked over at Kate who was staring up at me. “I won’t risk my family; why should I ask the rest of the pack to do so.” I turned to Justin, but before he could answer.
“It’s not just your decision anymore Ian.” Kate stood and looked at me. “I have every right to protect my family too, to protect the Moon Luna.” A small tear ran down her face. “We were oblivious of the threat Cam posed, now we know that he is seeking power to do goddess knows what, no one is safe regardless if we help you or not.”
“I won’t let you put yourself or the pups at risk.” I shook my head.
“My pups are already at risk.” Jack whimpered at Kate's retort.
