Chapter 2- HE CONFESSED!

The day starts with stressful and exhausting day, and suddenly someone makes it more complicated when stranger man offered Giana to be his wife.

"Sir are you crazy?" Giana asked.

"Yes! the heck, I know you! you are the barista working near here right?" as the man speak he respond to Giana's question and asked.

"Uhm, sir I need to go right now so good bye!" Giana said.

"Wait, miss!" The man said.

Before the man speak, but Giana ran faster to chase the bus, but she didn't make it.

"Do you need a ride?" the man said as he smirked and raise his left eyebrow while sitting inside of the car and looking at Giana.

Giana can't say no because she needs to be at school at exactly 1 p.m. so she agreed to the man's offer.

The man opens the car's door for her but Giana felt a little hesitated to go in. But still she sat down and agreed to the man.

"If you kidnap me, I swear! I'm gonna call a police right away!" Giana said.

"Hahahahahaha just chill you girl, I don't have any bad intensions to you, I just wanted to tell you that, I need you to pretend as my wife, don't worry I will pay you double, by the way I'm Liam Lincoln, you can trust me, " Liam said.

For a seconds, Giana stares at Liam from head to toe.

"You look wealthy and handsome, why can't you just date any other girls that is just like you?" Giana asked with curiosity.

"Basically, this is for my mom. She wants me to have a family immediately before she die and she pressurs me so I will just lie on her, but because I'm not ready for that, so my plan now is to hire someone to pretend as my wife and don't worry I will adopt a child," Liam said.

"I mean why me?" Giana asked.

"I see that you are a nice girl and so independent and I know that you need the money so do you want it or not?" as Liam speak and asked.

"Okay fine, but how about the coffee shop?" Giana asked.

"Don't worry about that." Liam said with confident.

Liam and Giana arrived at Giana's school exactly at the time.

"Okay, I will pick you up later and talk about this business topic, okay?" Liam said

"Okay fine, pick me up at 4 p.m." Giana said.

Giana didn't knew that, her life is starting to get more crazier, now that she met Liam. The big CEO from a big company of cars.

At the moment, Giana still is in her class but she staring into nothing and thinking about what she about to get into. After class she waits at the waiting area that full of beautiful flower and she sat there and wait for Liam. But unexpectedly Liam didn't leave the school instead he stays there and went around the whole campus.

"There you are!" Liam said excitedly

"You didn't leave?" Giana asked out of curiosity.

"Nah! I'm just walking around, so are you ready?" Liam speak and asked.

Giana simply walk towards the car and look at Liam, signs that she saying yes.

Liam and Giana went into the mall to buy some stuffs for her to change her looks and lie about her life status by hiding in elegant clothes, while talking at the car about the important business that Liam talks about and offered to Giana.

"So what's happening? can you tell me so I have idea about this transaction your are saying," Giana asked.

"Well my mom, she wants me to have a family immediately, but like I said earlier, I'm not ready about it. I am more focused at my business right now, but my mom... she is 87 years old and that is too old for her, so she wants me to have a baby immediately, I don't know what to do so I will just continue this plan and lie to her and I know that is not good," Liam said.

"But... don't you have some friends or someone to date to?" Giana asked.

"Honestly, I don't know how to date or something like that. Like I said, I'm focused at my business, and I'm not into dating right now." Liam said.

"I get it, well... how much my salary for this crazy idea of yours?" Giana asked.

"I will pay you 500k dollars but if you show me that you will be really good at this." Liam said.

"Okay...Deal!" Giana said and smirked.

*Phone ringing*

Giana's phone rang and she saw that it's Kenneth.

"Where are you at? are you okay?" Kenneth said through phone.

"Yeah I'm okay, just wait me there!" Giana said.

"But it's late? where are you? who are you with?" Kenneth said as he felt worried for Giana.

"Don't worry about me, I'm alright. By the way I need to go, bye!" Giana said.

As Giana hung up the call, Kenneth felt concerned and worried about her. He immediately close the shop and go to his apartment to wait for Giana. Kenneth tried to call Giana again but she didn't answer the call.

It's 8 p.m. but Giana still don't answer Kenneth's calls. But suddenly someone knocks the door, it's Giana.

"Where have you been? I thought your class ended at 4 p.m. it's so late" Kenneth said as he felt concerned to her.

"It's nothing, but someone just offered me a big time job Kenneth! the money can possibly help me to start with my dream business in just first month!" excitedly said by Giana.

"What is it then?" Kenneth asked.

"Right now, I can't tell you, but I will... soon!" Giana said.

"Okay fine, go ahead and rest." Kenneth said.

"I will" Giana said and smiled at Kenneth.

The next morning, Giana called her co-worker at the coffee shop.

"Uhm Jess I can't go today and I planned to quit." Giana said.

"What? why?" Jess asked with shock.

"Uhm... nothing I just want to resign and I need this for my self." Giana said.

"Alright," Jess said.

"Thanks Jess." Giana said.

Giana immediately get ready for her first day for preparation. Liam waits at the coffee where Giana worked at.

Liam called Giana to tell about the plan and where the meeting place at.

"Hey, I'm here at the coffee shop, by the way just wear trash clothes today, we were going to buy some good stuff... for you!" Liam said.

"What trash clothes are you saying? but okay fine, I'll be there" Giana said and hung up the call.

"Where are going?" Kenneth asked out of curiosity.

"To my new job!" as Giana respond.

Kenneth felt worried about Giana's new job so he planned to follow Giana to make it sure it's safe.

After Giana left, Kenneth immediately prepares his self.

(Kenneth's POV)

"What is new job she saying?? She's with some guy that looks... wealthy."

"OH MY GOSH is her new job is being a... PROSTITUTE????"

"But Giana will never ever do that, I know Giana."

Kenneth still following Giana, and suddenly Giana saw him but not that clearly.

But suddenly, Giana call Kenneth.

"Where are you?" Giana asked.

"Uhm... at the mall, I need to buy some new pairs of shoe... why?" Kenneth respond and asked.

"Where mall?" Giana asked.

"Uhm uh I need to go, BYE!" Kenneth suddenly hung up the phone.

Kenneth choose to go home and just wait for Giana.

"So what do you want?" Liam asked.

"Do I really need to choose?" Giana asked.

"Yes, of course!" Liam said.

"Okay fine, I will just choose that red dress, it looks so fancy and gorgeous." Giana said.

"What's more?" Liam asked.

"What do you mean what's more?" Giana asked.

"I mean choose more," Liam said

"Why?" Giana asked

"You know, just forget about it. Miss I will get that pink, gray and that red dress please." Liam speak and talk to the saleslady.

"That's a lot!" Giana said.

"I know!" Liam said and looked at Giana's eyes while raising his left eyebrow.

After Liam brought a dress for Giana, they go straight to a well-known restaurant.

"Are you spoiling me?" Giana asked.

"Yes but no, I just want to see if you have table manners." Liam said.

At the moment, Giana felt offended and roll her eyes to Liam, but still she needs the money so she just stay quiet.

When they get inside the restaurant, Liam pull the chair slowly and offered Giana a sit.

"Thank you," Giana said.

"So what do you want?" Liam asked.

"Anything, as long as it's food and safe." Giana said.

"Gosh, of course it is safe!" Liam said.

"Waiter! Just a two steak medium rare and a salad please." as Liam speaks at the waiter.

Suddenly, Kenneth call Giana, and she accepts the call.

"Where are you? I cooked your favorite food for dinner!" Kenneth said.

"Oh... I'm sorry Kenneth, I'm actually eating right now." Giana said as she feeling sorry for Kenneth.

"Oh... alright then, okay eatwell!" Kenneth said and the tears starting to fall down. Kenneth immediately hung up the call.

After Giana and Liam went to a restaurant, Liam offered Giana to bring her home but Giana didn't agree to it.

At the moment, Giana thinking about Kenneth, she wants to hide everything about it, from Kenneth because she knows that Kenneth will be mad when he knows about the job that she talking about, and she sees Kenneth as her big brother. But Kenneth sees her as his future partner in life.

"Alright then, I will leave you at the bus stop then." Liam said.

"Yeah, that's a good idea" Giana said.

But Giana didn't know that Kenneth saw her leave the car, Kenneth just went from the convenient store to buy some milk. Instead of confronting Giana, he just walk away and act like nothing happened.

"Kenneth! where are you? I'm home!" Giana speak as loud.

But she didn't see Kenneth anywhere. She thought that Kenneth just want some fresh air and hanging out at his favorite place, at the playground. She immediately change her clothes and go to the playground to look for Kenneth.

While walking, she suddenly saw Kenneth sitting at the swing while drinking milk.

"What are you doing here?" Giana said.

"What are doing here, of course this is my place." Kenneth seriously said.

"Are you mad?" Giana asked.

"No!" Kenneth respond.

"I'm sorry for hiding about my job to you, I know it's unfair and ofcourse I see you as my big brother so I can't hide this to you no more." Giana said.

"BIG BROTHER TO YOU? what do you mean? I LIKE YOU DUMB HEAD!" as Kenneth shouted at Giana and accidentally confessed.
