Chapter 2 - I am Luca Raid

~Luca P.O.V.~

Ever since I was little I hated the idea of a mate due to what that witch did years ago. I can't stomach the idea of having to go through what everyone one in my family has gone through. My once powerful pack is now knows for its Lunaless Alphas and depressed pack members. While deep in thought I felt someone trying to talk to me.

"Hey..."

"Its been a while Blue"

"I know I just don't want to lose my mate...."

"We both would be Blue"

Then there was silence. Blue is my wolf hes so black he looks blue with electric blue eyes. I began to sulk again when there was a knock on my door. "Come in" I hollered at whoever was behind the door and my face dropped. There was my father telling me to get ready for the Alpha Ceremony which happens in two days.

~Two days Later~

"Tonight's the night Blue"

"I wish we didn't have to"

" I know buddy"

I had the black suit my father picked out for me and I walked out to the staircase in the packhouse. A bright light shines on me then my father starts talking "Hello everyone. Tonight I will be passing down my role as Alpha as well the Beta to our children. Luca Raid step forward" I step forward and see everyone looking up at me with sadness. "Repeat after me I your name promise to lead the Sunrise pack and be the best Alpha I can be". I Luca Raid promise to lead the Sunrise pack and be the best Alpha I can be" the crowd clapped and I felt a surge of power. I looked to my left and saw Mike repeating the process but with his father Beta Geo Clark "I Mike Clark promise to help lead the Sunrise pack beside my Alpha Luca Raid". The ceremony was over and now the party began all of a sudden I smelt her. Before I could control myself Blue took over in my human form and sniffed her out she smelled like Lavander and Vanilla. Minutes later I was standing in front of her she was 5'9" so a bit shorter to my 6'2" frame. I looked into her eyes and Blue and I whispered "Mate"
