When I got to my room I slumped on the bed I was really worried about Avery,she has never dated any guy ever since her last break up with a guy named josh,josh had left her because of another girl and that had really made her friend go in trauma, because she had really loved that i***t and when she was finally out of it,she promised herself that she would never dated any guy untill she finds her prince charming,her dream man and now that she finally did he's taken,no way,am gonna make sure you fall madly in love with my best friend,but first I need to see if you're worth it, if you deserve her
Hi let me do a quick introduction,am Stella Derick only daughter to a wealthy billionaire,am 22 yrs old same as a Avery, I and Avery have been friends since childhood,we always act like twins In public and at home we do literally everything together,my parents love us equally,if we all go out as a family,if you're not being told you won't get the slightest idea that Avery isn't my parents biological daughter,am.always over protective of my best friend, that's just me,even when josh broke her heart putting her in trauma I felt like stabbing him to death but I had to refrain myself because of Avery.
Later in the day as Stella was on the dinning eating and Avery was on the couch watching movie (motherland;fort Salem)she heard a knock on the door,so she went to get it,when she opened the door she saw Vincent
"hey you're back'.said ivy
"yeah I said Let me check up on you'.said Vincent
"oh! that's nice of you,well come in'.said Avery with an appreciative smile
"thanks'.said Vincent as he stepped in
"well,let me introduce you to my best friend Stella, Stella meet Vincent".said Avery to Stella who had just finished eating and had come to see who it was that knocked
"well it's nice to meet you Vincent".said Stella with a genuine smile
"and you too Stella".said Vincent
another knock was heard on the door and when Avery opened it,it was kate
All these while Stella was starring at Vincent,she felt so unsure of him for her best friend
"hi how may I help you". asked Avery
"out of my way". said kate as she pushed Avery out of the way and went in
"so Vincent you left me at home to come see these two sluts".said kate yelling
"what the f**k! how dare you,such a spoilt brat,you had the guts to come into my house to insult us". Snapped Avery angrily at kate,
*did you just call a spoilt brat,am gonna deal with you ".said kate as she raised her hand to slap Avery but Avery was fast to hold Kate's hand from landing on her face instead ivy gave kate a hot slap on her cheek.
"I might be calm but am not foolish and I will never take nonsense from anyone,now get the hell out of my house".yelled Avery angrily as she opened the door for them to go out,kate left the house feeling hurt,angry and embarrassed.
"you should follow your girlfriend". said Avery to Vincent
"I......" but before he could say anything Avery had already climbed upstairs to her room
"tell her am sorry for what kate di,she overreacts too much".said Vincent to Stella
"Its ok but you shouldn't be the one apologizing,it should be your so called girl friend". said Stella still starring at Vincent
. "yeah I know,but the kate I know won't agree to that".said Vincent with a faint smile
"yeah, whatever ,bye".said Stella as she was about leaving, Vincent smiled at her and left

"how is the Mission going" asked unknown
"very well boss".answered jack
"good,I want you to kidnap that b***h and put an end to her life"said unknown
"ok boss".said jack
(jack walks out)
"now let's see how you will ever meet your old man and how you will ever live to claim the adalberto enterprise, because very soon it's gonna be mine".said unknown smirking evilly
IVY AND STELLA'S APARTMENT
"so when are you gonna take over your father's company".asked Stella
"well tomorrow,I can't keep depending on Mr.mike to take care of the company,he keeps calling and begging me to come take over,that he needs to have chance to spend with his family,so I told him that am taking over tomorrow ".said Avery
"gosh! I can't just wait,your name and picture is gonna be all over the tv stations with a caption "youngest female CEO in L.A(Los Angelos)miss Avery adalberto CEO of the adalberto's enterprise, daughter to the late billionaire Mr.adalberto owner of the adalberto's enterprise ".said Stella cheekily
That same dayat night Avery went to get groceries,while coming back, Avery felt that she was being followed so she hastened her steps and when she turned to look back the person hid,then a hand graped her into a dark conner and used his hand to cover her mouth to prevent her from making noise,when the guy that was following Avery came out and couldn't find her again he was angry
"f**k!".said jack as he left
The other guy left Avery's mouth,he was wearing mask that covered only his face,his eyes were showing, Avery saw his eyes it was emerald green
",why the hell did you do that".asked Avery
'were you the one following me"asked Avery
"no dummy I just saved you"said the guy with a sweet voice
"thanks".said Avery
When the guy was about leaving she held his hands,the guy starred at her
"pls can I know your name or at least see your face".said Avery
But the guy removed his hand from her hand and left without saying anything but before he left, Avery saw a band on his wrist with an inscription "jace".
