CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE When Daniel’s cell phone rang it tore him out of a heavy sleep. He turned over, found himself in a bed instead of the back of an unmarked police car, and for a groggy moment wondered what happened. Then he remembered. At the c***k of dawn, their Swedish colleagues had driven them to a hotel for some much-needed rest. He fumbled for his phone and mumbled a hello. “Special Agent Walker? This is Special Agent Updike. We cleared your request for a phone trace and travel records on a Professor Tyler Ogden.” Daniel sat up. “Yeah?” “We’re sending you that info now. As you suspected, he flew to Europe a week ago.
