CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT Remi froze. Daniel moved his hand for the inside of his jacket and Ogden clicked his tongue. “None of that,” he said. Daniel’s hand stopped in mid-motion. “Athanasios, check them for weapons.” Now that she got a better look at the g*n, she saw it was old and battered, probably the property of the couple whose cottage this was. Still, it seemed frightening enough pointed at her. Vasilakis stepped up behind Daniel and reached into his jacket. Just as he did, Daniel dropped to the ground, spun, and landed a punch right in the Greek professor’s crotch. An unsporting move, but given the betrayal, a justifiable one.
