"How is that possible?" Ty asked, glancing from Jack to Adeline.
Right, her brother didn't know about Jack being a doppelganger. Even she had been leery of Jack when she found out his identity. She didn't want her brother's perception of Jack marred; besides Ty would want to know too many details, and they didn't have time for his questioning.
"I'm a dop-"
"It doesn't matter," she interrupted Jack. "Let's use this ability while we can and find Marie."
Ty scowled. "What's going on? Marie must be more dangerous than we know or the witchdoctor would have gone after her herself."
"I've no choice." Adeline touched his arm. "Why don't you go home? Get some rest." Maybe their mom would help him. "Call Mom and let her know you're okay."
"And when she asks about you?" His eyes widene
