When Emilia drove into the meeting place, she saw Evelina instead.

Wait, where was Killian?

Since Evelina was here, this meant that Killian was here as well but she was kinda curious, what exactly did he want to say that he couldn't tell her through a phone call.

Emilia stepped on the brake but to her utter dismay, the car refused to stop, she looked down and that was when it occurred to her that there was no brake at all, instead she had stepped on the accelerator.

She wasn't given the chance to think how and who removed her brakes because in the next moment, she was crashing into someone with her car.

The body of the person she crashed into with her car dropped like a limp ragdoll to the floor to lie in a spreading pool of blood.

The car eventually stopped and Emilia came down from the car with shaky legs as she rushed towards the person her car hit.

Upon staring at the woman's face, Emilia's eyes widened and she felt her whole body turn cold and stiff like a person who was laid to rest inside a freezer for months.

It was Evelina!

Emilia's body trembled slightly as she stared at Evelina's limp body laying lifeless in a pool of her own blood.

Fear took over every inch of Emilia's fragile body, her knees were shaking out of panic and her white dress made her breathing pattern inconsistent and uncomfortable.

The straps of the dress were hurting her shoulders and its tightness made breathing a lot more difficult.

Emilia could heard the sound of siren attracted to many police vehicles approaching her and she held her breathe. At that moment, she knew that this was actually a planned accident, she could tell as much because of the sudden disappearance of her car brakes.

A normal morning like that one didn't seem to keep in store such a tragic ending. The streams of crimson liquor had flooded the floors, peacefully spreading along the field, staining the bright green grasses. Like a harmless stream of water it approached her and eventually reached her naked,frozen toes.

Emilia's vision got blurry as the police neared her and then as the shining candles on the luxurious chandeliers weren't that steady anymore as a cool breeze was passing by like death.

The smell of the infinite blood started to get distinct, the horrible but unfortunately familliar to her smell was taking over her senses ,making her calmness come to an end.

The police and the ambulance arrived to the field and Evelina was taken to the hospital immediately.

With Emilia's blurry eyes, she watched as the police walked towards her with handcuffs but In sudden decision she got up on her feet, immediate discomfort takes over her limps and body as a cold breeze strokes her hair.

Then she ran!

She didn't run because she was scared of the police but instead, she was scared of the man who just arrived, her ex-husband and she knew too well that at that moment, if they end up catching her, she wouldn't be able to see the next day.

Poor Emilia wasn't given a chance to run far when she heard a bang!

A bullet was sent flying towards her leg and she stumbled falling towards the floor, her right leg hurts so badly and all she could do was stare at it helplessly.

She couldn't stand up!

"I would deal with her myself, thanks for your hard work but you may leave" Killian's cold tone pierced into the police officers and Emilia's eardrums like icicles.

Emilia watched as Killian returned the gun he had used on her back to the police making Emilia stunned and her eyes were filled with disbelief. It was only then that she realized Killian's gaze was piercing and frost was oozing out in rays as he averted his gaze towards her. His eyes were dark and all-consuming as if he was one moment away from gouging her heart out of her chest!

"Get That disgusting little b*tch"

His icy words, enough to make his guards rush towards Emilia to carry out Killian's orders.

Tears streamed freely down her lashes as she was pulled by the hair. His stabbing words hurts her heart over and over again,like a never ending knives aimed directly at her soul. Piercing it like a sadistic demon administering a harsh torture.

The hatred he had towards her was written clearly inside those icy blue eyes and even in the situation she was in right now she still wished and prayed that he could believe her, stare at her warmly, care for her and love her.

But she knew that was very impossible. She begged and pleaded, explaining what happened to him but he ignored her and eventually she was knocked out by the guards making her vision turn completely blank .

Opening her eyes, Emilia found herself in a hospital and her heart thumped loudly as a little bit of home grew inside her chest.

After recalling the incident that occurred a few hours ago, Emilia thought that she would be taken to an abandoned warehouse where she would be tortured to death but she actually woke up in a hospital.

And despite her brain cells yelling at her that something was not right, yet, her heart refuse to comply and will rather seek the comfort of blind obscurity, than believe whatever signals my brain cells were sending to my whole body.

Emilia stood up from the hospital bed before walking out of the room in search of Killian. Though she had a strong feeling that he actually believed her but she still felt like she needed to explain what happened more.

Thanks to the nurse she bumped into on her way, she located the doctor's office.

Emilia raised up her fist to knock on the door but the words she heard next shocked her to the greatest core.

"I brought Emilia here so that you could take her blood, Just do anything to save Evelina, I don't want to loose her and am very sure that they share the same blood type " Killian's deep but authoritative voice was heard.

"Am sorry but the patient can't donate blood at the moment, Pregnant women are not eligible to donate blood . The body needs the blood and its iron to support the fetus. Donating blood during pregnancy may increase the risk of complications such as anemia and compromise fetal health. A woman needs to wait at least 6 weeks after giving birth before donating blood." The doctor replied firmly.

"And just like I said before, I don't care, Just do as I say because if anything happens to Evelina, you would suffer the consequences" Killian said coldly.

Emilia's eyes widened as she took a step back, her vision turned blurry and she couldn't think of any thing.

Her eyes stung as she heard the doctor telling Killian that his orders would be carried out without further delay.

Emilia staggered a step, barely aware of the hundreds of guards around, watching her from a corner and then she ran , forgetting for a moment that she was actually shot in the leg by the same cold-blooded man whose only agenda is to take the life of their little one just to save the life of her step-sister.

Emilia stumbled,pain surging through her bones as she fell flat to the ground. Her whole body ached where she had fallen to the floor, and there were cuts burning on her legs, but it paled in comparison to the all-consuming fear that was coursing through her veins. Who the f**k was she kidding?. Oh?, Did she just think to escape would be so damn easy!!?

"Where did you think you were going to?" A dark but way too familiar voice echoed behind her and before she could turn to stare at him, he gripped her by the hair with an overwhelming force that left her motionless.

"Emilia Clarke, You think you could escape from me after planning to kill your step sister!!, don't you think you should take responsibility??" Killian said.

"No! Killian, you misunderstood, I would never harm Evelina!, I... I have nothing against her!!" Emilia replied as the tears which she tried her best to fight back made its way down her cheeks.

Despite her pleads, she was dragged roughly to the operation theatre.

"Killian, you can't hurt my baby!, The baby is ours, your own flesh and blood, you can't do this!!" Emilia sobbed hard, trying to fight the three bulky men who had her pinned to the bed while the doctor injected a dark liquid into her system.

Emilia was begging for mercy on behalf of her child while suffering from excruciating pain. She closed her eyes from exhaustion, tears escaped from the corner of her eyes.

"Killian!!, I...I beg you, pl...ea....se, sto..p!" Emilia felt her whole body turn weak and she didn't need any seer to tell her that it was the effect of the dark liquid injected into her system .

She widened her blank eyes and was stuck in a daze. Then she stopped struggling and succumbed to the darkness.

"Lily, You're the best thing that has ever happened to me"

"Am so happy that I found you Lily, I promise to be with you for the rest of our lives"

"Lily, I might be blind but I can tell who is Lily just by the beautiful sound of your voice and your obsessive scent, those can't be wiped away from my memory so easily"

The boy of 15 years old stood in front of the ocean smiling so casually, his icy blue eyeballs were pinned on the ocean in front of him but he couldn't see a thing. Despite the fact that his eyes were open, he could picture the view of the ocean only when he tries to picture himself in a fantasy world.

"Lily, Wait for me just a little while, I will be back and I would also fulfill the promises I made to you okay?"

But all the smiles, sugar coated words and their lovely moments together were nothing but a lie because all he gave her even till today was nothing but pain.

After Killian left for an eye surgery when he was younger, he came back 3 years ago and fulfilled the promise he had promised her when she was little. On their wedding day, she was the most envious bride among the high class citizens, she couldn't stop smiling when she walked through the aisle towards the man she had waited and loved for years.

After they exchanged rings in front of the large congregation, he sent her a cold look before walking out on her in front of everyone, leaving her utterly embarrassed and confused.

Emilia excused herself and followed him secretly that day only to catch him kissing her step sister. On their wedding day!!!

It was like a straight bullet that was shot directly at her chest. After all that Killian and her had gone through,he still chose Evelina over her.

Killian chose Evelina who never cared about Killian when he was younger but instead teamed up with her team to bully him because he was born blind.

Yet he chose Evelina!

He chose to kill their baby in return for Evelina's life.

Emilia knew that Killian did that to punish her because there was no one born into planet Earth that doesn't know how powerful Killian De Luca is. Buying or getting a blood donor that matches that of Evelina is just like a piece of cake to Killian de Luca.

But Killian de Luca had proven to be more ruthless than his own father, he chose that method knowing that loosing my baby could break me forever, could trigger me and take me to a point of madness.

Killian de Luca wished that she would die as well as her child

Despite being in a short time coma, Emilia knew that her baby was gone, she could feel the heart wrenching emptiness which could never go unnoticed.

Emilia felt like she had fought the demons ruling the abyss of hell for too long and when her eyes finally opened, the doctor informed her that she had been in a coma for six days.

Which meant that Evelina and Killian might have gotten married by now!?.

"Am so sorry ma'am for your loss, I tried to convince Mr Killian but he wouldn't agree to it so I had no choice but to......"

Everything ended when he killed their baby and sucked out her blood just to save evelina when she was in the hospital. That could never go back to how it was before.

The pain began to penetrate her entire body. She thought her heart was dead. She thought it was so numb that it would not feel any pain anymore. However, this suffocating pain was making it hard for her to breathe.

Her baby died while Killian was still alive!

Upon hearing his words, Emilia felt rage crawling into her skin but she managed to swallow it before sending a forced smile at the doctor.

The doctor didn't say anything else instead he gave her some discharge papers which she took and signed without delay.
