The city

1216 Words
Cilia came out from the bush with her hands dripping with blood, she had just fed off an animal she found, after getting rid of her urge to eat living flesh, her skin which was once gray went back to its normal color. She goes over to where Anna and clerk made camp, apparently it's been three days since the incident happened and clerk hasn't woken up since then. Waking up and finding out that she was turned into a zombie came as a very huge shock to cilia. But she was also grateful because if he hadn't done that she would have died, no one could survive a shot like that. It took them three whole days to finally settle down and accept reality to what it is, as a means of survival cilia has been the one hunting for food, since she's a zombie now, she also has a special ability which made hunting for food a lot easier. Anna took it upon herself to take care of clerk, surprisingly enough she has been doing a good job so far, doesn't seem to care about the fact that he's a zombie. Not to talk of the fact that ever since cilia became a zombie, she seemed overly protective of clerk, never leaving his side whenever it's nighttime. Two weeks passed and there was still no change in clerk's situation, but this didn't stop them from leaving the woods and heading to the city, taking him to the city was the only thing on their mind at the moment. The girls finally got to the city, cilia did all the heavy lifting, carrying Clark's body while Anna carries the other stuff. "We finally made it … the city," Anna said with a huge smile on her face as she hugs cilia doesn't seem happy at all, the city isn't her favorite place. They headed into the closest hotel they could find, it was already dark time and they needed a place to stay. Just as Anna and cilia entered the hotel to book a room, they could feel the eyes of everybody sitting in the halls fixated on them as they moved closer to the receptionist desk Walking into a hotel, while carrying a gun and an 18-year-old man on your back will definitely attract unwanted attention. "One room please," Anna said placing her gun on the counter, dipping her hands into her bra cups to get the money she had kept intact. "Am sorry but, we have no free room" The receptionist said looking at clerk as he rested unconsciously on cilia's back. Anna saw the key stacks at the receptionist's back, it still had at least four different room keys. "The hell… aren't those free room keys over…" before Anna could finish what she was saying she was interrupted by the receptionist, who kept insisting that there are no rooms available. After minutes that felt like hours of constant arguing had passed, cilia got impatient as she noticed that clerk's arm started turning grey. She walks over to the receptionist's front, looking her in the eyes as her eyes became blue. "We would like to take any room that is available," cilia said as she used her eye of culpotion on her. After the compulsion had taken its effect, the receptionist handed out the key to her. "What was that?" Anna asked as she had no idea zombies could do that "Doesn't matter" Cilia replied with a stern look on her face as she carries clerk up to his room. Once they had gotten into their apartment, cilia took clerk down and placed him on the bed, taking off his cloth because she wanted to cool him off since he's sweating so much. Anna started blushing as she watched cilia place her lips against clerk's and start to suck, he's skin color started to go back to normal, he was starving and needed something to satisfy his hunger even in a deep sleep... So she did what she do, she kisses him while transferring the nutrients that she was able to gather from the animals she killed. She transferred the nutrients into his body which made his skin color go back to its normal state. After she had finished with that, she stood up from the bed, she fell to her knee resting her head on her arm. "Are you okay?" Anna asked going over to clerk to lay the blanket over him. "Am fine, just a little tired is all, giving him all that nutrients drained my energy" She replied seating close to clerk, holding his hand. "So, how's it like? Been a zombie I mean" feeling curious a she stood close to the door as she asked the question. "Why'd you wanna know? It's not like you wanna be a zombie" looking at clerk's face as he sleeps. "No, no, it's not like that" waving her hands in embarrassment. "It's just the first time I saw clerk, he was in a graveyard, and when he got out he lost control and went after a deer, I know very well am made of flesh, do zombies not eat humans" Anna replies. "I don't really feel different, more like I see things differently, and as to if zombie eats humans, right now you look like well-grilled meat, does that answer your question?" She replies with a blunt look on her face. "So he chose not the eat me then" She replies, remembering how Zeno ran away from her with tears in his eyes. "Yh, even I am fighting the urge to take a bite out of you?" she said sounding interested "Does the zombie change also have something to do with your sudden closeness with him?" She asked with a serious look on her face. Cilia paused for a sec as she tries to figure out why she asked such an obvious question. "You wouldn't understand anyway," she said trying to avoid the question. "Try me" looking at cilia with such seriousness in her eyes. Cilia sighs as she answers her question "I just feel the need to protect him, he saved my life after all" standing up as she gently placed clerk's hand on his chest. "But it isn't your choice though, I think the zombie Trans…" she was interrupted by cilia's gentle outburst. "Even if the transformation has anything to do with it, it's still my feeling, and I choose to keep it" she replies. "Listen I know how you must feel, but". "suss, someone's here," she says with a suspicious voice as she peeps through the door to check who was there. She saw the receptionist in front of the door holding a large stray with some items on it. She opened the door for the receptionist, letting her into the room, cilia started to feel uneasy, cilia asked the receptionist to open the vial she had on so she could see her face. Feeling cornered, she opened her vial and to their surprise, her eyes were completely white, her skin also looked completely dried up. Moving closer to clerk, cilia took the lamp on the table while Anna pointed her gun at the receptionist. There was no mistaking it, she was already a zombie.
